All vetted in and ready to roll at 8am tomorrow morning !
The Red Dragon is a 160km ride that runs over two days. 1 x 80km loop each day with travelling crew points and vetting. Last vetting back at the ride base then over night hold , represent Sunday morning and then go again 🙏🤞.

In 2018 both OSO Irazu and OSO Spiralling Wind landed in the UK to give the Oso horses a presence in Europe . Both horses were put in the very capable hands of trainers Nikki Malcolm and Nathan Sweeney and they put the very best foundations into their endurance journey.
Oso Spiralling Wind (aka Spiral 🌀) now owned by Nikki has had a fantastic career in the UK winning multiple FEI and National rides .
Now,thanks to Nikki, Poppy has been given the opportunity to ride in one of the toughest endurance races in the UK this weekend - The Red Dragon 160km race in the heart of mid Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.
An incredible feat to take on only a week after the World Championships in Romania. 🇷🇴.
Today for the first time she got to ride Spiral on the gallops in the Dorset countryside before leaving for the event tomorrow . I asked how he felt ..."Very Strong!💪 " was her answer .
Not surprising with both Nikki and Spiral's past record in this race!
Super excited to rejoin Nikki, Nath and their phenomenal crew.

The World Championships for Young Riders and Juniors was a great success for team Oso. Poppy and Oso Irazu finished 10th across the line, with an average speed of 20.75km/h and average recoveries of 1min 40sec. So proud of Irazu for tackling the track with ease even though the heat and doing the last 2 loops alone. Nothing possible without their super team James, Jamie, Amanda and Andrew, aswell as for prepping him perfectly. Also all the support from home has been absolutely incredible. Finally thank you to Linda Mars for your endless support and opportunities for this kid. Many more photos to come !!

Tori Bice rode Oso Lady Excelsior around her second 80km qualifier, completing with all As and 1s
Susan Woodward rode the special Oso Kayla, legging her up beautifully for the rest of the season!
Natalia Balcazar rode Oso Red Wonda in the 80km, now Wonda is a qualified endurance pony !!
Sam Long rode Oso Ronaldo, ALSO qualifying him, a very exciting up and coming horse !

it up the arena with their dressage freestyle to *Let It Go* from *Frozen*—and let’s just say, Daisy *fully embraced the drama*! 🎭🐴

From elegant movements to some *Oscar-worthy* expressions (yes, Daisy, we saw your diva moment 👀😂), this ride was all about fun, emotion, and the magic of freestyle! 💙🎶
