🌟🐾 CAT OF THE MONTH 🐾🌟

This April’s spotlight goes to the lovely Cookie-Cookie 🐱💛

Cookie-Cookie recently came in for a routine dental procedure and was an absolute superstar from start to finish! During the procedure, we found one wobbly molar that needed to be removed to keep her comfortable and healthy 🦷✨

Dental disease can be very common in cats, which is why routine dental care is such an important part of preventative health care. Removing problematic teeth early can help prevent pain, infection, and more serious issues later on.

We’re so happy to say that Cookie-Cookie recovered incredibly quickly and without a problem, she was back to her sweet self in no time 💕🐾✨

This April’s superstar is Sasha 🐶💛

Sasha recently visited us for a routine dental procedure and did absolutely amazing throughout the entire day! Thankfully, no extractions were needed, which is always such a positive outcome ✨🦷

We are so proud of how brave and sweet Sasha was during her stay with us, and our team loved giving them all the cuddles and attention they deserved 💕

Happy International Chihuahua Day to all the Chihuahuas and Chihuahua crosses out there! 🐶✨

Okay… technically it was May 14th, but Nurse Ash couldn’t let the occasion go unnoticed 💛

In our defence for being a little late, every day should be International Chihuahua Day!

These little guys definitely have quite the reputation, but every Chihuahua and Chihuahua mix owner knows they’re really just the sweetest, most loyal little lovebugs around 🥹🐾

Maybe this post is slightly biased since Nurse Ash is a proud chichi owner and also runs the Insta 👀✨ Anyway, give her gorgeous Chihuahua cross, Tilly, some love! She’s all the way back home in Ireland 🇮🇪💛

🐾 Pet of the Month: Kodi 🐾

Little Kodi has been quite the frequent flyer while we worked on getting his Cushing’s disease under control, but what a journey it’s been! After multiple blood tests and lots of patience, we’re so happy to say it’s now finally well managed 🎉

Kodi has been an absolute superstar every step of the way. His charm, resilience, and adorable personality have completely won over our team. He truly is the sweetest little boy and we adore him 💛

🐰🐇It is more important than ever to ensure your rabbit is up to date with their vaccinations. 🐰🐇

The NSW Government and local councils will be releasing the RHDV1-K5 strain of rabbit calicivirus now in early March 2026 across Greater Sydney and the Central Coast to help manage wild rabbit populations. This virus is spread by flies, fleas, and direct contact from infected wild rabbits.

Although the target is the wild rabbit population, domesticated pet rabbits are still at risk of contracting this highly contagious and often fatal disease.

Keeping your rabbit’s vaccination up to date is vital to help protect them. We also strongly recommend:

• Housing your rabbit indoors or in a secure, well-constructed enclosure
• Preventing contact with wild rabbits
• Minimising exposure to flies and fleas by Installing insect-proof netting
• Maintaining excellent hygiene in their housing area, including daily spot cleaning amd regular full enclosure cleans

Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease (RHDV1-K5) can cause sudden illness, internal bleeding, lethargy, fever, and sadly, sudden death, often with very little warning.

Please call the clinic today to schedule your rabbit’s vaccination appointment. Protecting them now is the best defence. 🐰💉
