Adolescent Dog class: where we teach dogs fun games that encourage focus on handlers, use tug toys as rewards and show you how to help your dog relax in between fun activities. Keith, Betsy, Smokey, Scout and Frankie, all mastered these great skills in our 6-week course. On graduation night, we run them through stations with different calming activities, including snuffle mats, yummy treats served on likimats, some nose work, figuring out food dispensing toys and getting into the pool to search for treats. Well done everyone!

OOPS. Almost missed posting about our fabulous Adolescent Dog class, who graduated back in October, postponed a week when thunder and lightning made things potentially unsafe for outdoor activities. Trooper, Billy and Rocket showed us how much they had learned over the course and did brilliantly with all the fun games and activities.

Building Skills Graduation Night was an absolute blast! Our superstar dogs zoomed over jumps, dove through tunnels, danced through weave poles, and tackled real-life challenges like total pros. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, they rolled out the party tricks, literally! Roll overs, paw shakes, perfect spins… you name it.
Huge congratulations to all our clever canines and their proud humans!

These amazing pups have come a long way, learning to focus on their handlers while playing and having fun. We wrapped it up with some enrichment activities, which they’ve all enjoyed!
