Dogs scroll the world too!

But instead of a phone, they use their nose.
When your dog stops to sniff on a walk they’re gathering information about the world around them.

Through scent, dogs can learn an incredible amount about their environment:
• which dogs have passed by
• how long ago they were there
• their emotional state
• changes in the environment

Sniffing is one of the most natural and enriching behaviours a dog can perform.
Unlike our endless social media scrolling, this kind of “scrolling” has powerful benefits. Sniffing can help lower arousal levels, reduce stress and anxiety, and support emotional regulation.

A walk isn’t just about distance or exercise for dogs. It’s also about exploration and processing their environment.

As much as I want my dog to run and chase the ball, I still prioritise sniffing on our daily routine. I like to change it up, and take different route to give him some variety!

Eight months ago, I stepped away from my business to bring this little human into the world.
Motherhood has stretched me in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

As a dog trainer, I thought I understood family life with dogs.
But becoming a mum — with dog — has given me a completely new perspective.

I now understand my clients in a different way.
The divided attention.
The guilt.
The behavioural changes that show up when life shifts.
The emotional weight of trying to meet everyone’s needs.
Even as a professional, I’m facing new challenges. Unknowns. Adjustments.
I have a lot to learn.
And I have even more to share.

We’re entering a new chapter — one that feels more aligned, more intentional, and deeply rooted in real life.
Things will look different around here.

But they’ll also be deeper.

Only a few weeks left before opening the page to a new chapter. We once again will need to adapt and set realistic expectations for everyone. But for now, it’s time to enjoy our last moments… ❤️

Over a hundred years ago in Japan, an Akita dog named Hachiko walked his human to the train station everyday - Watching him board the train and waiting patiently for his return after work.
One day, Hachiko’s human sadly passed away - but Hachiko continued to return the station and wait for him. Hour after hour, day after day, for nearly ten years.
You can’t get more loyal than that.

More than 10 years ago I said “I’ll go to Japan one day and I’ll go to see his statue near Shibuya Station “ ✅ Once every few years I watch the movie about his story and trust me… it gets me all the time 😭❤️

We are not taking any inquiries and officially stopping activities from the 4th of July. This is a temporary goodbye. A lot of changes coming up in my life 🤰🏻 but also it will be time to give my business a fresh start.

We’ll definitely dig into “dog and kids” or how to manage life with a reactive dog and toddlers 😇 fun stuff! I’m on the mission to give my dog the best life I can and raising happy and confident kids ! Without forgetting our drive to go traveling and exploring the world! How can I do this with the entire family ? I don’t know yet ! But we will figure it out ! Lot of learning and management strategies to put in place.

I’ll share here our journey as I navigate into motherhood. And yes, I’m also grateful because I had a “difficult dog” and I study dog behaviour before having a baby, I know this will help me to be a better mum . I’ve learned soooo much over the years about dogs but also about people and myself !

I’m exited to share the up and downs ! Because we all know, reactive dogs or kids it’s a lot of work. So both? 😅

Let’s do it! But first… it’s time to take care of myself so I can be the best version of myself for them❤️🥰

It’s with my heart full of memories that we are closing this chapter of my life. I’ll be back ! It’s just a break but I don’t have any coming back date as for now it’s time to focus on my family, also training my “sensitive dog” with a baby then a toddler… a lot of fun ahead 👍🏼😅
I’m exited and scared at the same time.

My heart is heavy saying goodbye to all my beautiful clients and furry friends 🐾❤️
I’m so grateful for all of you and for being a part of your dog training journey!

But for now, I hope to see you around the Beaches !!! 😊😊
