‼️ If possible - WE NEED SOME MORE HELP PLEASE........a bit of a long post sorry ‼️
It is funny how things work.....
Literally as I posted the Stats post earlier this morning - I looked at my phone to see I had received a text with this photo attached. A happy bunch of ponies in Kanumbra (yes they are horses, but they are just big ponies to me). They are enjoying their special treat of some lucerne hay - which was originally supplied by our team members - the Kinglake Crew.
It is so nice to see the green tinge in the paddocks after the rain. Fingers crossed it doesn't chill off too much up there too soon and there's enough in the soil to get some grass going before winter!
Then, not long after, I received another text confirming the availability of some hay to us!!! 🎉
Bit like full circle stuff.....I'll stop being so philosophical now and get back to practicalities!! 🫣
This hay development has been going on for a little while and has been tricky for all parties, nevertheless, it is coming to fruition 🤞
BUT.........we do need more funds! 💰💰💰
With our funds and hay supplies nearing the end (after 7 weeks of supply mind you!), I sent a request last week asking all our contacts to provide me with a 'Wish List'. Last hoorah type of thing.
Of course, I had to say, I could not promise anything, as would be stretching the funds as far as possible to reach as many as possible, but that I would do my best. Having to prioritise/delegate like this is NOT a great feeling.... 😣
The list came back with star posts and hay being at the top! So with the resources we have left the decision was made to dedicate a large portion of the remaining funds to star posts. Now this hay has become available!
So, in saying all that, I tentatively put my hand up again, as I value that you have already given so much and really don't like to ask! 🙋♀️
Maybe you could encourage a family member, friend or colleague to follow your suit? Or simply share this post maybe? Anything to spread the word and gain support would be simply amazing!! 😇
