Our renovated kennels are now operational and exclusive boarding is available for small/medium dogs. Stellar Dogs also offers some dog training services customised for each dog and their family. Training is personalised to meet your needs, from preparation for a new puppy coming home, good manners, obedience and general life skills through to skills for dog sports in a variety of disciplines. Helen has lived with and been involved in handling & training dogs most of her life, having shown dogs in the conformation show ring from very young, she started training dogs some 30 years ago and has participated in competitive dog sports for nearly 20 years. The last 10 years has seen her working professionally in the dog training industry, as a Quarantine Detector Dog handler/trainer, K9 Manager/Trainer with Assistance Dogs Australia and she is a Public Access Test Assessor for WA Local Government (providing support for privately trained assistance and service dogs)
Helen is passionate about dogs and training, and is dedicated to continual learning and education in the field. She regularly attends workshops and seminars in a variety of disciplines in order to continue learning. Helen enjoys helping people learn and teaching them ways to help their dog be a "good dog". Learning to watch, read and understand their dogs and how they can communicate with their dogs … ultimately creating a better relationship and life for both together.
