Make sure to check your pets๐๐
* Important information regarding your pet's microchip*
Homesafe ID, a microchip registry, has gone into receivership and all pets with their details stored with this company will have to re- register their pet's details with another company.
If your pet was microchipped here at Ranford Vet, they will have been registered with the Australasian Animal Registry (AAR). If your pet was microchipped elsewhere, you will need to check which company you are registered with.
If you know your pet's microchip number, go to www.petaddress.com.au and enter in their number (should be 15 digits long). This will then come up with a link to your registry. If it is Homesafe ID, you will need to re- register your pet's details. We recommend AAR (www.aar.org.au) Please call us if you are having problems doing this.
If you don't know your pet's microchip number, please call us and we can check if we have your number on file. Otherwise you can bring in your pet for a free microchip scan.
This is also a good opportunity to check your contact information and update if necessary.
Remember: if your details are not registered or not up to date, your pet can not be reunited with you if they are lost!
