Doe is ready to bound into your heart and find a herd to call her own.

Meet Doe, Female, Born 01/11/2021.

Sweet, friendly and playful, this delightful girl has all the charm of a woodland deer. Doe could join doggie siblings of any size from tiny pudu-sized pals to magnificent moose-sized companions. She has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. While Doe adores people she can occasionally turn into a bounding fawn during playtime so she would prefer Bambis (kiddos) aged nine years and older. Younger children may be considered if they are familiar with playful dogs. One or two 20-minute walks each day will keep Doe's hooves, well, paws, prancing happily along. With a canine companion, Doe could happily spend longer stretches without her people. If she's a solo hound, six hours is a comfortable amount of alone time while her new routine settles into place. Thanks to her love of toys, she's quite content to play and entertain herself between naps.

If you're looking for a playful member of the herd and a hound who will make your heart skip like a deer through a sunlit meadow, Doe may be the one you've been searching for.

Yale is a sweet gentleman with a curious mind and a calm approach to life.

Meet Yale, Male, Born 21/12/2023.

Yale enjoys exploring the world around him, researching interesting smells and expanding his knowledge one adventure at a time. While he can be playful when the mood strikes, he's generally a more considered scholar than class clown. Yale would could join medium or larger doggie classmates. He's friendly but hasn’t had much exposure to small dogs yet. Yale has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because boisterous young tots can leave him feeling a little unsure, Yale would prefer a home where all children are nine years or older. Like any good student, he appreciates a calm learning environment and a chance to settle in before being rushed by young freshmen. Yale can stay home alone for up to six hours as a solo dog. With canine company or ongoing training, that time may be able to extend even further. Exercise is typical greyhound, one or two 20-minute walks a day will keep his tail wagging like a tassel on a mortarboard.

Sweet, clever and quietly charming, Yale is ready to graduate into his forever home.

Dino is a Jurassic legend, playful, friendly, social and confident.

Meet Dino, Male, Born 16/05/2022.

He’s got big triceratops enthusiasm, heart as big as a brontosaurus, and just a touch of cheeky raptor energy when playtime kicks off. Dino could share his “dig site” with medium sized or larger doggie siblings as his play may be too much for tiny ammonites. Dino has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Because he’s a big boy and can get excited during play, he’d prefer a home where all the little palaeontologists are 14 years or older. With a canine companion Dino could be happy to spend longer hours without their people. If they are a solo hound, their preferred alone time limit is around three hours. Exercise is classic greyhound style, one or two 20 minute walks a day will keep Dino’s tail swinging like an ankylosaurus. This handsome boy loves being right in the middle of things, supervising like the most enthusiastic archaeologist.

Playful, people loving and bursting with prehistoric charm, Dino is a confident, friendly hound who’s ready to stomp straight into his forever home.

Ghibli is a calm, quiet and easy going soul who feels like he’s wandered straight out of a cozy countryside Minka cottage.

Meet Ghibli, male, born 02/11/2021.

Ghibli could share his story with doggie siblings of any size, from tiny soot sprites to great river spirits. Ghibli has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Sadly, that includes Catbus, no matter how convenient the transport would be. Little Ponyos (kiddos) in the home could be as young as five as Ghibli is wonderfully calm and gentle with people. He may even suit younger tots if the household is experienced in managing dogs and infants. With a canine companion, Ghibli could happily spend longer stretches wandering his enchanted world without his people. If he’s a solo hound, his preferred alone time limit is around six hours. Exercise is typical greyhound, One or two 20 minute walks a day are all he needs to keep him content and his tail wagging like a dragon’s tail.

Quiet, sweet and full of magic, Ghibli is the sort of companion who makes everyday life feel a a lot more wonderful.

AJ is a friendly, social and beautifully polite boy who brings an easy-going presence into any home.

Meet AJ, male, born 19/01/2021.

He’s the kind of hound who’s just happy to be part of whatever you’re doing. This handsome lad could join doggie siblings of any size from small terriers to tall great danes. AJ has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. AJ is gentle and well mannered enough to join a home with children as young as five, making him a great family companion for those looking for a calm dog. AJ can stay home alone for up to three hours as a solo dog. With canine company and a consistent routine that time may extend. He settles well and is happy to enjoy a bit of quiet time. Exercise is simple and classic greyhound, one or two 20 minute walks a day will keep his tail wagging. AJ isn’t overly interested in toys, instead, he’s much more about people and pat. A soft scratch or gentle affection is far more his style and he’ll happily soak up every bit of attention you offer.

Calm, kind and quietly affectionate, AJ is a lovely, low maintenance companion ready to make himself right at home.

Please note that applicants with young children will have priority to adopt AJ.

Poi Poi is ready to dance her way into a forever home and become the steady rhythm that keeps your world moving along beautifully.

Meet Poi Poi, Female, Born 15/12/2021.

Poi Poi's gentle temperament would suit a home with children as young as five years old, and potentially younger children who are familiar with dogs. Poi Poi is suitable for full time hours as she has been doing more than six hours alone in a foster home. One or two 20-minute walks each day will keep Poi Poi's tail swaying to a happy beat as she explores the sights, sounds, and smells of the neighbourhood alongside her people. Poi Poi would enjoy life as a solo ‘hound but could also live alongside medium or large doggy friends.

If you're looking for a loyal companion to match your rhythm and be your favourite dance partner, Poi Poi may be waiting for her cue to join your family.

Please note that applicants with young children will have priority to adopt Poi Poi.
