🐾 Kath and Milo had a scheduled appointment to see Dr Mel on Thursday a few weeks ago. Poor Milo was a bit wobbly on his back legs 🐶💔. He was still eating well 🍽️ but just wasn’t feeling his usual self.

📅 Milo was booked in for some X-rays early the next week to help figure out what was going on 🩻🕵️‍♀️.

To their surprise, Kath and Milo won our Week 2 $300 Professional Services Voucher 💸👏 — and it came at the perfect time, going straight towards Milo’s X-ray costs 🙌💙.

While Milo’s treatment is still ongoing, Kath was over the moon because she never wins anything! 🥹🍀

🥳 Congratulations Kath & Milo — a very well-deserved win for an adorable duo!

🐶🍗 Cheeky pup alert!

Ellie, the sneaky sausage, decided that the plastic bowl covers keeping the chicken covered looked just as tasty as the chicken itself… and helped herself to both!

Thankfully, her clever mum noticed the covers were missing and brought her straight in. An X-ray showed the bags (visible by their elastic bands) sitting in her stomach 😳 — not what we wanted to see!

With some quick action (and a bit of help to bring everything back up 🤢), Ellie safely vomited both plastic covers back up. Crisis definitely averted — no obstruction, no surgery needed!

Big shoutout to Ellie’s quick-thinking mum 👏 and a reminder to everyone: dogs really WILL eat anything! 🐾🙈

Phew… what a week! 😅

It’s been go-go-go at Northern Beaches Vet Clinic with heaps of emergencies, check-ups and everything in between. Big love to our awesome team for powering through it all – always calm, caring and keeping things 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 for our furry patients 🐶🐱

Perplexed by an unknown order of doughnuts, the team gratefully accepted.

🐾 Meet Vicki – Our Smiley Receptionist & cycling superstar 🐾

Vicki is one of the first friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors, and has been with our team since our opening in 2022. Vicki grew up in Darwin, has travelled around Australia (twice!), and has dipped her toes into everything from mining to teaching before landing her dream job surrounded by animals. 🐶🐱

When she’s not greeting your pets with a friendly face and a treat, you’ll find her:
🚴‍♀️ Road cycling her heart out—Vicki rides 333km in the Cardiac Challenge to Cooktown every year, helping to raise vital funds to support the purchase of life-saving equipment and services for the FNQ cardiac unit. 👏

Vicki is a passionate Fear-Free advocate and loves how we take a gentle, stress-free approach with every pet that walks in the door—because comfort and cuddles are top priority here. 💙
