Today’s receptionist assistant duties included supervising the front desk, demanding treats and making sure Cathy stayed on schedule! ✨

Safe to say Zola takes her role very seriously, especially when snacks are involved! 🐾

Today we're celebrating one of our amazing veterinary nurses, Becky! 🐾

Outside of work, Becky is a proud fur mum to her beloved Rottweiler, Eddie, loves all things Harry Potter, and is currently putting her skills to the test creating the perfect shrimp tank. 🦐🐶⚡

We're still waiting for her Hogwarts acceptance letter, but we're pretty sure she'd be top of the class in veterinary magic. Becky has a special passion for surgery and has furthered her skills by completing her Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing. Her dedication to patient care, attention to detail, and calm presence make her an invaluable part of our team.

We hope your birthday is as magical as a trip on the Hogwarts Express, filled with plenty of treats, laughter, and time spent with Eddie.

🐾 Welcome Nurse Victoria to the Cairns Veterinary Clinic team! 🐾

We're excited to welcome Victoria to our nursing team! With a passion for both veterinary nursing and travel, she's bringing a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a love of learning to our clinic.

✨ A few fun facts about Victoria:
🌎 She's travelled to 10 countries (and counting!) and has spent the last 10+ years working across both veterinary clinics and the travel industry. She even manages her own travel agency, Vida Travel.
🇧🇷 Victoria was born in Brazil, raised in New Zealand, and moved to Australia almost 6 years ago. She can also speak Portuguese!
🏂 When she's not caring for patients, you'll likely find her chasing snow in Japan or New Zealand for a snowboarding adventure, or on the soccer field playing competitively.

💙 What Victoria loves most about vet nursing:
"There is always something new to learn!"

Victoria holds a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and will be starting her Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing in July as she continues to expand her knowledge and skills.
