Just a couple of super cute poochies that have been in the clinic recently for dental procedures.

All our dental procedures start with X-rays which allow us to detect hidden decay, cracks, and other damage not visible to the naked eye. The veterinarian will discuss with you any teeth that may need to be removed.

Then the teeth are cleaned and polished, leaving your pet feeling fresh and healthy.

Early detection of any dental disease is important and we are happy to discuss any concerns you may have with your pets dental health.

Induction of emesis (vomiting) 🤮

Sometimes our furry friends think with their stomach over their brain (haven’t we all) and eat something they shouldn’t.

But do not worry, if you have think they have eaten something that is toxic or could cause a gastrointestinal blockage we can induce vomiting (if safe to do so and if in the correct timeframe). One of our friendly nurses, like Tammy here, will hold their ears and rub their backs throughout the process 🤭

We have induced vomiting for ingestion of
- corn cobs
- Chocolate
- Human medications
- Toxic seeds
- Rat bait
- Personal hygiene products
- Kids toys
The list goes on- we have seen it all!

Bob ruptured his cruciate ligaments two years apart, but thanks to the skill of Max Fargher Veterinary Surgeon, who performed TTO procedures on both knees, he hasn’t missed a beat. Many preventatives are now available and it can sometimes feel overwhelming, so if you have any questions about what prevention may be suitable for your pet, please feel free to contact the clinic.

Doggie Daycare Closed!
18th-25th April
