Dr Dan - Holiday check-in!

Finally slowing down and soaking it all in, family time with the kids, catching up with my Canadian crew, and yes… plenty of s’mores by the fire already. Feels good to switch gears after such a long time without a proper break.

Loving the woods, the river, and the chance to just be still for a bit. Pretty lucky to be able to call two places home, even if one runs on maple syrup and the other runs on caffeine (I do miss The Long Yard Larder coffee)!

More adventures to come — but for now, I’m just enjoying the quiet.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time resulted in Coco’s foot being tread on by her much larger hooved friends. After an exam by Dr Jen, a quick X-ray, wounds all cleaned up, Coco was cleared of any broken bones and home for rest.
