For some of our patients, visiting the vet can feel a little overwhelming — and we completely understand that not every pet is the same. ❤️

At Ferny Grove Vets, we treat every pet as an individual and tailor their visit to suit their needs. For some, that may mean moving a little slower, offering extra treats, taking breaks, or giving plenty of cuddles and reassurance. For others, they may need a little extra support before their appointment to help make the experience as calm and stress-free as possible.

If your fur baby experiences high levels of anxiety or stress around vet visits, please reach out to us before your appointment. We have options available that can help take the edge off and make their visit a much more positive experience. 🐶🐱

One of our lovely clients cats has taken off on a little adventure. If anyone sees Pepper please let us know, his fur brother and sister miss him terribly as do Mum and Dad. All his microchip details are up to date. Missing from around Tanrego Street Ferny Grove

✨ Meet Mr Rufus ✨

Rufus recently spent some time with us for an ultrasound, and while vet visits can make him feel a little nervous, we always make sure to take things at Rufus pace 💙

Even through his nerves, this handsome boy still managed a little tail wag and showed us his absolute cutest smile — complete with his pearly whites! 🐾 The best part? Rufus can even smile on command, and his Dalmatian sister has mastered the same adorable trick too.

At Ferny Grove Vets, we know that every patient is different. Some of our furry family members need a little extra time, patience and gentle handling when they’re away from home. Whether that means slowing things down, extra cuddles, or changing how we approach their care, our goal is always the same — to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible while giving them the treatment they need ❤️

We had this absolute beauty in to see us today and wow… he definitely has the personality to match the looks 🐾💙

This handsome boy came in with a bit of a sore foot, so our team made sure he was feeling comfortable and well looked after. While he was here, he also had his routine scale and polish as he was almost due — keeping those pearly whites healthy and shining ✨🦷

Safe to say he had the team wrapped around his paw by the end of his visit — an all-round best boy with charm for days 🐶💙 We hope that foot is feeling better very soon!

🐾 Heart-Stealer Alert 🐾

This handsome little guy absolutely stole some hearts during his very first visit with us 🥹💙
From those beautiful eyes and adorable ears to the softest little paws, he had us all smitten!

Like many little ones, he was feeling a bit nervous at first, but with some reassurance from Mum and a few gentle cuddles, he soon settled in and even shared some beautiful purrs with us 🐱✨

We love helping make first vet visits a positive experience and watching confidence grow, one cuddle (and purr!) at a time 💕
