POV: you’re a vet nurse, so your camera roll looks a little different 🐾🤍
It’s filled with blurry tail wags, sleepy post-surgery cuddles, tiny puppy vaccinations, kittens wrapped in blankets, happy discharge photos, and the sweet faces we get to care for every single day.
Some days in this job are incredibly hard. We see the scary moments, the emergencies, the heartbreak, and the goodbye’s that stay with us long after we leave work. But we also get to experience some of the most beautiful parts of an animal’s life.
We get to watch nervous new puppy parents fall completely in love. We celebrate first vaccines, recovery milestones, and senior pets still acting like puppies at heart. We get to earn the trust of anxious rescue pets, hand out way too many treats, and sneak cuddles in between appointments.
One of the greatest privileges of being a vet nurse is growing alongside your pets. From their very first visit as tiny puppies or kittens, through all the messy, funny, chaotic years in between, and into their gentle senior years, we remember them all.
Your pets become part of our lives too. We know their favorite treats, their nervous habits, their dramatic personalities, and the way they look at you when they feel safest. They leave paw prints on our hearts in ways we could never fully explain.
So yes… our camera rolls are overflowing with photos and videos of your pets.
Because even on the hardest days, these moments remind us exactly why we do what we do ✨
