Each appointment starts with a full consultation to discuss your needs and how we'll go about making your dog look and feel fabulous. Leah started out grooming in Melbourne and moved to WA in 2016 with Husband, baby and 2 dogs in tow to raise her family close to the spectacular beaches.

After 6+ long months of council delays, manufacture wait times, working around a FIFO schedule, the occasional trady hiccup and a work place injury putting my foreman up for a few weeks, I've finally moved into the new salon!!!🙌🎉

We still have a bit of work to do on the entry so please still come through the carport door and I'm now on the left instead of the right 🐶

Thank you so much to everyone that has helped us get this far 🥰 You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to bathing dogs inside and not carting around buckets of waste water 🥳

This Sunday I entered our first grooming comp of the year with the gorgeous Mister Darcy in the poodle class.
Was quite a feat with lots of coat and very stiff competition and I'm over the moon to have been awarded 2nd place in the open class 🎉
Mr Darcy was very well behaved and loved the attention from onlookers. Very big thankyou to the our extremely talented judge Tiarne Perkiss and Clare Price who single handedly organised a fantastic event. And thankyou to the sponsors for my wonderful prizes 🥰 💚

As many of your already know there are big changes coming to Topiary Dog in 2025. First off the rank is a move from Warnbro to Safety Bay, all appointments from the new year will be at our new address, 16 Jaywick Close, Safety Bay.

We are super excited for this move, closer the beach and bordering the shady Gum Tree Reserve which is an off lead park. Perfect for before and after groom zoomies.

With the move also comes a price increase. I have kept my prices reasonably low for as long as possible while everything goes up around us and unfortunately I'm no longer able to absorb these increases. There will be a $5 to $10 increase on all services from January 2025.

Lastly there will be some changes to our terms and conditions to fit the new location. A link will be messaged a few days before your appointment so you can have a read and sign them off.

Lastly lastly, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, I know I haven't been particularly festive this year with everything going on but I can't wait to see you all in the New Year and get cracking on building a brand new Salon! 🎄🎅🎄

Saturday this weekend was spent grooming Poodles at the annual Groomwest Spring Fest competition!

We placed 🥇1st in Salon Freestyle Open with Roberto the little apricot poodle and 🥈2nd in Poodle Open with Mister Darcy 🎉

Big thankyou to the organisers , the judges Sally Baxter and Chuckie Lund and the sponsors for the lovely prizes ☺️

A special thankyou to my wonderful customers who loaned me their beloved canine family members for the day and taking such good care of their coats at home in the lead up to the competition, I couldn't do it without your support 💚💚💚
