Madi Boss & Wyoming B Witched had their first ever lesson in cross country last weekend and went pretty good too ... great to see Madi have a go at a variety of disciplines and 'Witch' showing the true versatility of our bloodlines.

Vicki Franklin attended this Australian Stockman's Challenge Association judges and competitors clinic over the weekend and found it very informative, great insight into scoring dry & wet patterns and well delivered.. friendly group of people and a few laughs. Thank you Saddle Up Boonah and ASCA .. I believe a couple more may be held at Toowoomba or Dalby in coming months, highly recommended to those competing or needing to judge these type of events.

Maverick & Cruize.. Its lucky this pair of geldings are handsome... they are like a pair of up to no good teenage boys... always finding some friendly mischief to get into together.. just prior to photo, i'd been drawn outside by the thunder of hooves like a stampede, thought all the horses were out... they'd been racing up and down the fence looking at some whatever in the distant yonder, whilst all their younger siblings next door looked at them as if the were totally crazy.

Wyoming Stud Serrocco... 4yo gelding by Resolute Serenity from our favourite mare SS Ducos Classic Edition [aka Baby Doll]. He is the oldest progeny we have by Serenity, the other we bred in his 1st year is a mare who is 'as quite as' and going real well for owner Jess Rose in Charleville.

Serrocco is having his first ever outing at a Rosewood Pony Club camp this weekend with Courtney Osborne. Bonnie's worn her pony out already so hopped on 'Roccy'.. first time for him and her.. and look at this, how kind he is. If this is an indication of how Serenity's progeny are going to be, you could not be more happy than seeing this.

A gelding we've had in the background is now ready to start more serious competition.
Wyoming Stud Peppyz Cruize 🤎.. He is a bit special as he is the last ever foal for us by Peppys Matlock and is a full brother to paint stallion Strike and a few of our broodmares.

Courtney Osborne has given him his first comp starts at the Stockmans Challenge events held at Esk & Toogoolawah shows. He performed well, pretty well behaved, had a placing and is really starting to shape up to cattle now. Well done Cruize & Courtney 👏👏👏

Strike O' Fire has been continuing his ridden journey at Wyoming Stud with owner Stephanie Clements and today he got his first little play with cattle ... took it all in his stride and not phased at all, good experience for young horse and rider trying something new.

PLUS.. We have his very nice, splitting image, full brother "Strike O' Moonfire" available for sale. He will make someone a great allrounder!!
