🦘 One Last Check Could Save a Little Life 🦘

Every day on our Aussie roads, wildlife is at risk — and sadly, it's not uncommon to see a kangaroo or possum that's been hit. But what many people don’t realise is… sometimes, there’s still hope. 💚

Marsupials carry their babies in pouches, and even if mum hasn’t survived, her joey might still be alive, warm and waiting for help. These little ones often survive the initial impact and just need a kind soul to stop and check.

If it’s safe to do so, please take a moment to check the pouch of any marsupial you come across on the roadside. Wrap any surviving joey in something warm and contact us on 5462 1343 or a wildlife carer ASAP.

It only takes a minute—and it could save a precious life. 🍼🦘

❄️🐾 Say hello to Snowball and Rex the Maremmas! 🐾❄️

These gentle giants came in today for their vaccinations and stole everyone's heart in the waiting room (and maybe a few treats too 😍). With their fluffy white coats and calm nature, they looked like little clouds floating through the clinic!

Thanks for being such good pups Snowball and Rex.

When life give you rocks....don't eat them Gizmo!

Meet Gizmo, our sweet and spirited little Jack Russell with a taste for adventure—and apparently, rocks! Gizmo gave his family (and our clinic!) quite the scare after he swallowed a stone… yes, a real rock. 😱

Despite his best attempts to pass it off as just a “crunchy snack,” Gizmo’s tummy had other ideas. When his humans noticed he wasn’t feeling his usual bouncy self, they brought him in—and we quickly discovered that this cheeky pup had a not-so-edible souvenir lodged in his belly.

Off to surgery we went! Thanks to our amazing vet team, the rock was safely removed and Gizmo is now on the mend—sporting a very fashionable little jumper and a bright green bandage that he's been rocking like a true superstar. 💚✨

Gizmo’s message to fellow pups? "If it doesn’t smell like chicken, maybe don’t eat it." 🐾

We’re happy to report that this brave little guy is recovering beautifully, getting all the cuddles (and the correct snacks) he could ever want.

P.S. If your pet ever eats something they shouldn’t (they do love to surprise us), give us a call right away. Some things just aren’t meant for doggy digestion—no matter how tasty they might seem at the time!
