These little pups came in for their first puppy vaccination and microchipping — an important first step in keeping them happy, healthy and safe as they grow. 💕

Their first vet visit can be a big adventure, but these little ones handled it like absolute champions! 🥰

🕷️🐾 PARALYSIS TICKS 🐾🕷️

Paralysis ticks can be extremely dangerous for our pets, and they can cause serious illness if not found and treated quickly.

🔎 Check your pet every day — especially after they’ve been outside. Run your hands over their body and check carefully around the head, neck, ears, between the toes and under the collar.

⚠️ Keep an eye out for signs such as:
• Weakness or wobbliness
• Difficulty breathing
• A change in their bark or meow
• Coughing or gagging
• Vomiting
• Trouble swallowing
• Retching or excessive drooling

If you find a tick or notice any unusual symptoms, contact your vet immediately. 🚨

The best protection is prevention, so make sure your pet’s tick prevention is up to date and appropriate for them.
