🎃👻 Happy Halloween from the Direct Vet Services team! 👻🎃

We hope you and your fur-babies have a spooktacular day filled with festive fun! Whether you're dressing up, trick-or-treating around Point Cook, or cozying up at home, here are a few gentle reminders to keep your pets safe tonight:

🍫 No Chocolate or Xylitol: Keep all sweet treats strictly for the humans!

🎃 Decoration Safety: Keep glowing glowsticks, candles, and dangling cords well out of curious paws’ reach.

🚪 Doorbell Stress: If trick-or-treaters make your pet nervous, create a quiet, comfortable space for them in a back room.

Got a pet in costume? We’d love to see them! Drop your pet’s Halloween photos in the comments below! 🐾💖

Have a safe and boo-tiful day!

🏡🐾 Think indoor pets don’t need vaccinations? Think again!

Even if your cat stays indoors or your dog spends most of their time at home, they can still be exposed to certain infectious diseases. Viruses can sometimes be carried inside on shoes, clothing or visitors, and pets may encounter risks during vet visits or unexpected outings.

💙 At Direct Vet Services, every vaccination appointment includes a full health check, allowing us to assess your pet’s teeth, weight, skin and overall wellbeing. It’s an opportunity to catch potential health concerns early and help keep your furry family member protected.

🐶🐱 Indoor lifestyle, meet proactive pet care!

🐾 How do you prevent boredom while your pet is home alone? 🐶🐱

Keep their minds busy and tails wagging with food puzzles, a variety of durable toys, and pet cameras connected to your smartphone so you can check in on them throughout the day. 🧩🎾📱

A little enrichment can go a long way in keeping your furry friend happy and entertained while you’re away! 💙

We believe caring for your best friend should be as stress-free as possible—and that includes the bill! 🐶🐱

With GapOnly® available at Direct Vet Services, you don't have to worry about paying full price upfront and waiting days for your insurance payout.

While you're here at the clinic, we process your claim on the spot. Assessments usually take around 10 minutes, meaning you only pay the remaining gap amount before heading home.

It’s just another way we make quality care simple and accessible for our Point Cook families. 💙
