The fourth time was the charm for Tex 'N' Cee.

After three consecutive second placings to start his career, the son of Group 1 winner Kay Cee finally broke through with an impressive maiden victory at Belmont.

The promising three-year-old was forced to do some work early, but proved too strong in the straight to reward the patience of Neville and Steven Parnham.

"I think he's starting to learn now and I'm hopeful he'll just get better and bette," said Neville.
