Getting ready for our Drovers Vet awards lunch. Every year our Core Value Awards are voted on by all the staff where we acknowledge some exceptional staff for the year. We also acknowledge and appreciate just how amazing our WHOLE team is and the effort they have all put in this year. It is also an event that eagerly awaits the fashion statement Dr Wayne will enter with to hand out the Secret Santa gifts - more news coming.....!!

Layla the Hyacinth Hybrid Macaw who was in at Drovers Vet a bit ago for a microchip placement. This is done under a light general anaesthetic and it is placed into the breast muscle. We take great care with the anaesthetic of any patient and Layla can be seen here having her procedure performed by Dr Wayne and on a pulse oximeter monitor for heart rate and oxygenation. Layla also took the chance once fully recovered to pose with many staff. She is the most bravest and lovliest of girls!!
