Meet Elliot! 💙🐾
Elliot is an 8-year-old Shar Pei mix with a heart that's absolutely worth the wait. He was originally adopted from Dogs Behind Bars Rescue in 2018 but has sadly found his way back to us. Now, he's hoping someone will open their heart once again so he can spend his golden years exactly where he deserves to be... in his own home.

🐾 𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗦!! 🥰 We were recently asked if we had room for a “bucket” of puppies that had been surrendered in the Pilbara. One look at the photo and we knew we couldn’t say no.

First step was getting them to a vet for parvo and ehrlichiosis tests, vaccinations, worming, and much needed baths. ✈ They all received their ‘fit-to-fly’ certificates before heading to Perth and have since settled in well with new foster families. Having seen their Mum we believe they are Jack Russell x Chihuahua x ‘who-knows-what’ 🤷‍♀️, and will likely remain quite small when fully grown.

Now it is time for us to fulfill our promise of finding them wonderful forever homes. If you’re ready to meet your new best friend, head over to our SavourLife page for more pics, details and information on how to apply.

❤ A very BIG thank you to all who donated ❤
Our dogs enjoyed a much happier festive season thanks to the Christmas Collection Drive organised by the Bunnings Ellenbrook Team. Your community projects throughout 2025 have been amazing and to be commended. We look forward to seeing you for more sausage sizzles in 2026! 🐾

🐶 Thank you so much to Lyka Pet Food for their recent donations, and to Enoki who assisted in transporting them to our dogs in need (and trying to insist that they each needed quality testing! 😋😆 ) We assured him we already knew it was top quality food and we’ve seen first hand the difference it makes to our dogs. ❤🐾

It is only through donations that we are able to continue doing what we do and making a life-impacting difference for the dogs. Remember, as a registered charity, all donations to us over $2 are tax deductible. Email [email protected] for a receipt.

The wonderful staff at Pet Circle are the pick of the litter when it comes to supporting local animal rescues. Their continued support and latest donation has earned them a paws-itive reputation, and we at Dogs Behind Bars Rescue Inc. are truly grateful.
