Another recap of the last couple of weeks.

15/16 Aug:
Amren was entered in the Bunbury shows, picking up 1 BCC and BOB (8pts) out of the 3 shows.
Ryze put his best foot forward for his LCA BOTS run, it was pretty warm, so it will be interesting to see if he was faster than his sprintdog times were over summer or not!

23/24 Aug:
Sorin, Rune, Ryze, Solace and Amren all entered in More Muck'n Mayhem and it lived up to its name being incredibly mucky!
Results wise,
Amren and Rune in 2-Dog Open 3rd place
Ryze in Novice 1st Place
Sorin and Solace ran in CaniX

Another re-cap for the last two weekends!
Time is flying by but we have been making the most of the weekends with lots of sports.

Two weeks ago, Rune, Amren, Ryze and Solace headed down to the WASSA Jarrahwood Jaunt Dryland Sledding Race.

Rune & Amren Raced in 2-Dog open (scooter) and powered through the short track! For two little dogs, they have a great amount of strength. They finished behind the hounds in

Ryze raced with Emily in Novice and is trending up in his average speed which is awesome to see! They came away with

Solace and Jamelia ran in Cani with two awesome heats and a really good effort from the little merle boy, they also came away with

Not to be left out, Miss Posh & Leanne stayed in Perth and entered the Agility trial on the same weekend - Posh did some lovely work in her Novice agility run, but the stand out was her Novice Jumping run where she qualified and came home with a
🥇First Place 500🥇

Last weekend, Rune, Posh and Amren were entered in agility once again.
Rune had a great time on the Masters Jumping course but no qualifying run for her this time. Rune also had her first run in Excellent Agility, and (as you do) used the see-saw as a launching pad 😅 No qualifier there either on this occasion.

Posh again had some lovely work in Novice Agility but not quite a pass. Some amazing distance work in her Open Jumping run, and the day kept getting better as her Novice Jumping run was consistent, speedy and clear for
🥈Second Place 500🥈

Amren entered the show and agility she started off at Show 1 coming away with a nice reserve B***h Challenge before hopping over to agility and having a go in Open Jumping, a non qualifying run but some stunning distance!
We ducked back over to the show ring for Show 2 where she came away with a lovely
🥇B***h Challenge (8pts)🥇
🌟Runner-up Best Of Breed🌟
She followed that up with a stunner of a run in Novice Jumping - blitzing around in a touch over 17seconds! And came home with
🥈Second Place 400🥈

We have a much quieter weekend planned this weekend, an agility workshop on Saturday and some social training on Sunday. We are all looking forward to a slower pace for one weekend before we pick back up again!

Last weekend Amren, Ryze and Solace had a camping weekend full of lure coursing!

Ryze got 2 LP qualifiers along with
1st place Lure Persuit Dog🥇 on Saturday.

Solace got 2 JP passes and has achieved his
🌟Junior Persuit TITLE🌟

No Qualifiers for Amren, but her second run was a massive improvement on the first!

Another fun weekend for the team, with Amren entered in her first FCI show on Friday, being awarded Reserve CACIB and an excellent grading.
We then travelled down toward Busselton for another weekend of sledding, meeting Ryze and Solace there.
Amren bringing another red Lantern home in 1-dog Bikejor
Ryze bringing home 1st place in Novice with Emily
Solace ran in 2-dog with Miley, as well as Cani with Jamelia.

The team have more fun planned for this weekend! A busy time for the dogs!

Another great weekend for some of the team, with Rune, Amren and Posh having some Agility & Games fun at the Cloverdale Agility trial.
Challenging runs for Rune and Amren, as they entered the ring without me as their regular handler.
The girls had lots of lovely runs, and got one Q each.

After agility, we raced across to the WA Junior Handlers State Finals at Dogs West where Sorin was a swap dog for a young handler in the 7-u10 age class.
Swap dogs are an unknown dog for the handler to take in if they make it into the 2nd round of the competition.
Sorin and his allocated junior had never worked together before, but despite this, they worked well as a team and his handler came out with 🥇 a First place in her age group!

We have another big weekend ahead, with a couple of different activities planned 🤩

On the weekend, Sorin, Rune Ryze and Amren packed up and headed to Wailki for the WA Sleddog Sports Association Muck'n Mayhem Dryland Sledding Race.
We met Solace there on the Saturday and all 5 dogs competed in classes.

🪽Amren came home with Red Lantern in 1-Dog Open against very strong competition (fast hounds)
☄️Sorin and his running partner Gayle ran in Cani and finished well
🌊Solace and Jamelia also had a strong finish in Cani
💎Rune and her running partner Meg came 3rd in Cani
🔮Ryze and Emily had a great run coming 4th in Novice Scooter

The best camp of the year, the tracks are beautiful and fun, the dogs especially enjoy the windy bush trails.
A few weeks break from Sledding (nationals is being held over east but we won't be travelling this year) but we'll be back into it soon!

We had our first dry-land sledding race of the year!

🏅Speedy finish in Novice with his favourite mum Emily! About 5th place out of 14 teams!

We had our first Lure Coursing Trial of the year! Located at Serpentine Pony club, a long course around 990mtrs but flat and open.

NQ but starting to understand the game and ran most of the course on her 2nd run.

The star of the day, achieved his second pass in Lure Persuit class after 12 months off.
Ryze and his favourite mum tackled the day together scoring 88/100 and 93/100 on his runs, and came away with:

While the show ring isn't his speed, he was definitely feeling pretty happy with himself after his dryland sledding race on the weekend. He definitely likes the faster things in life 😂

Super start to WA Agility states for the Norsonix team!

Yesterday, Rune got herself a pass and
🥇1st place in Novice Agility
Rune's daughters, Amren & Posh had special wins, with their very first novice jumping passes in the same course!
🥇Amren with 1st place 400 height
🥈Posh with 2nd place 500 height

All 3 have qualified for finals 🤩

Congratulations to Leanne who owns Posh, on her super run! Exciting times ahead for the team! 🥰🥰

With our wild weather today, our 3rd qualifying trial and Finals will be held next Saturday.

Another update from the last few weeks of fun!

Amren and Sorin were entered in the WDC Group 5 Show with some awesome results!!
🌟Amren - Intermediate in Show
🌟Sorin - Runner up Neuter in Show

Ryze came to stay for a week, then we all went camping for the weekend and his favourite mum came along, all the dogs got some sledding runs in and everyone had an awesome time!

Amren competed in the DWD Club of WA double header and came away with amazing results!
