Eighteen years ago, a single photo changed everything. I saw a beautiful mare named ‘Clononeen Little Dorrit’, and in that moment, I fell in love. She became our first gypsy cob, but more than that, she became my heart horse the one who quietly wove herself into the fabric of our lives.
Pip (or lovingly known as ‘The Pintopottomos’) was gentle, loving, and just the right amount of cheeky. She had a way of grounding us, softening the hard days, and reminding us of the simple joy in being together. She carried so much more than her weight, she carried memories, trust, and a kind of magic that only the truly special ones have.
Today, at 22, we say goodbye. The devastation is overwhelming, because it isn’t just the loss of a horse, it’s the end of an era. But what an era it was. She gave us love, laughter, and a bond that will never fade.
Run free, beautiful Pip. You will always be part of us at Pepperwood.
