FRENCHIE UPDATE ✨

These 9 little French Bulldog puppies, born via caesarean with Dr Paige, are growing up fast!!

They recently visited the clinic for their first health check and vaccinations and we’re thrilled to report they are all thriving!

Mum is doing beautifully and how lucky are we to have had cuddles with ALL nine of these beauties!

🌸 PINK UP MUDGEE 2025 🌸

It’s the first day of October and the girls at Mudgee Vet Hospital are proudly donning their brand new pink scrubs in support of a cause close to all our hearts 💖

We’re honoured to be part of the Pink Up Mudgee campaign again this year, raising awareness and vital funds for the McGrath Foundation and the incredible work of breast care nurses across Australia.

For every full-priced vaccination, we’ll be donating $5 directly to the campaign, and all proceeds from our Open Day on October 18th will go towards this important cause.

🎉 MVH FUNDRAISING UPDATE 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve raised an amazing $1,185 for the RSPCA! 🐾💙

Thanks to our incredible Mudgee community support, these funds will be helping the RSPCA continue their work to prevent cruelty to animals by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, and promoting animal welfare.

Thank you also to our talented Mudgee Vet team of bakers - your generosity and kindness made this possible! And it seems Harry, our placement vet from QLD, has won a serious amount of fans for his signature cookie! 🍪 (DM for his recipe! 😋)

For the past 3 weeks he’s been an absolute gem to have on our team! His highlight? Helping Dr Paige deliver this beautiful big calf!

MEET THE VETS - Dr Charles 🩺

It’s hard to believe but Charles has already celebrated his first year with us here at Mudgee Vet! 🎉👏🏻

Charles was set up perfectly for vet life growing up on a sheep farm in Crookwell - then a ‘Gap Year’ farming in Canada - and after studies at both Sydney Uni and Charles Stuart Wagga, he graduated in 2024.

Charles is a natural with both large and small animals, though he does have a special interest in livestock. Around the clinic he’s known for his easy going nature (and love of a cold beer) - which makes him a favourite with both clients AND staff!!

When he’s not treating patients you’ll find him on the golf course, tennis court, or catching up with mates!⛳️🎾🍻

Charles - you’ve definitely made a brilliant mark in just one year - and the best is still to come!
