Another familiar face heading back to Equimillion!

Easier Said, by All Too Hard out of Dibella, had 24 starts on the track for 3 wins and 6 further placings, earning more than $82,000 before beginning her life after racing.

And Equimillion certainly isn’t new territory for this girl she competed in the 80cm New Star Eventing at Equimillion in 2024, showing just how versatile our thoroughbreds can be once their racing days are behind them.
From the racetrack to Equimillion we absolutely love following these horses and seeing where life takes them after racing.

🐎 EQUIMILLION 2026
⭐️⭐️ OLIVERSHARE ⭐️⭐️

Sometimes a horse’s story starts long before we ever meet them.

We bought Olivershare as a yearling at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale.

When we bought him, the girls from the stable who had prepared him for the sale asked us for just one thing “His name is Oliver… please keep it.”

And we did.

When it came time to give him his racing name, Oliver became Olivershare —
a little piece of the people who had loved and cared for him before us carried forward into his next chapter.

And I think that is such a beautiful reminder of just how many people can become part of one horse’s story.

From the people who breed them and prepare them for the yearling sales, to those who break them in, the stable staff who feed them and handle them every day, the trainers, owners and jockeys who take them racing and eventually, the people who give them a new purpose and a home after the racetrack.

To some people, they might simply be another horse.

But somewhere along the way, they have been someone’s Oliver.

Now Olivershare gets to write another chapter at Equimillion 2026, and seeing horses like him find their next person and their next purpose is exactly why following their lives after racing is so special.

⭐️⭐️HAVEYOU BETH
EQUIMILLION 2026 ⭐️⭐️

Some horses make their name on the racetrack… others show us just how much they have to give once their racing days are over.

Former Sinclair Racing mare HAVEYOU, now known as Beth, is certainly one of those horses.

Since finding her home with Allie Palmer and the Palmer family, Beth has built quite the résumé. She has competed at Grand Nationals, qualified for Grand Nationals in the Child’s classes, placed Top 5 in the Crane Cup at Sydney Royal three years in a row, and won multiple Supreme Championships at Ag Shows.

Equimillion has also been a big part of her journey, with Beth achieving some fantastic results across both the show horse and dressage rings including a Junior Preliminary Dressage Championship, 3rd in Junior Show Horse, 2nd in Dressage in 2024, and 2nd in Junior Show Horse in 2025.

She may not have made her biggest mark on the racetrack, but she has certainly made one since leaving it. From Ag Shows and Sydney Royal to Grand Nationals and Equimillion, Beth is a beautiful example of just how much life there can be after racing.

SHALAA JET – EQUIMILLION 2026 ✨

Another former Sinclair Racing horse heading to Equimillion! 🐎💙

Shalaa Jet, now owned by Allie Palmer, will be stepping out in the New Star Led class.

We love seeing our former racehorses finding their next chapter and can’t wait to see Shalaa Jet shine. 🌟

UPSTART — ONE OF THOSE SPECIAL ONES 🐎

There are some horses that remind you why you never write one off too early and Upstart was certainly one of them.

He came to Sinclair Racing pretty well non competitive, and there wasn’t a great deal to suggest what was about to happen.

Then we took him to Mungindi for a trial and he won it.

Now, let’s be fair… winning a trial at Mungindi doesn’t necessarily have you rushing home thinking you’ve got a Moree Cup horse on your hands. 😂

But maybe Upstart was trying to tell us something.

Once he settled into our system and started enjoying his work, he just kept improving.

Then came that incredible run in 2019…

Four wins in a row.

And what a way to make it four.

Winning our hometown Moree Cup, with Brooke Stower aboard, while our old warrior Free Billy ran second to give Sinclair Racing the quinella.

They’re the days you don’t forget.

Upstart’s story has always meant a lot to us because it wasn’t simply about winning races. It was watching a horse arrive at the stable struggling to be competitive and then watching him find himself again.

A different environment, patience, good feed, good work and most importantly a happy horse sometimes that’s all they need.

And Upstart certainly thrived.

He would later show just how tough he was, winning the 2021 Inverell Cup as an eight-year-old carrying 62.5kg.

From a little trial win at Mungindi that didn’t seem to mean too much at the time… to four straight wins and a Moree Cup.

That’s the beauty of horses.

Sometimes the ones you least expect give you some of the memories you’ll treasure the most.

🐎 SOME HORSES ARE MORE THAN JUST RACEHORSES…

And AH WELL was certainly one of those.

Owned by the Forman family and trained by Peter Sinclair, Ah Well became a very special part of both the Forman and Sinclair Racing families.

Like so many horses that have come through our stable over the years, it isn’t just the wins or the prizemoney that we remember.

It’s the journey.

It’s the days at the races together, the excitement, the disappointments, the laughs, the people you meet along the way and those moments that become stories you still tell years later.

And Ah Well gave us plenty of those. ❤️

She had 40 starts for 6 wins, 4 seconds and 7 thirds, earning more than $114,000, but there was one day that will always stand out.

In February 2022, with Rachael Murray aboard, our girl went to Quirindi and won the $50,000 Quirindi Showcase Cup over 1600m. 🏆

What a day.

But for the Forman family, Ah Well was never just about what she achieved on the racetrack.

She was their mare.

And that’s probably one of the most beautiful things about racing. A horse can come into your life because of racing, but somewhere along the way they become part of your family and when the racing finishes, the love for them certainly doesn’t.

Today, Ah Well is enjoying a completely different chapter.

She’s a mum. ❤️

She has a beautiful yearling filly and has recently welcomed a gorgeous brand-new c**t.

To see a mare who gave the Forman family so many wonderful memories on the racetrack now standing in the paddock with her own babies is pretty special.

From a maiden win at Moree, to becoming a country Cup winner, and now watching the next generation grow…

The trophies and race results might eventually become part of the history books.

But the horses never leave your heart.

Ah Well will always be one of the special ones. ❤️🐎

And maybe, just maybe, there is another little chapter of the Ah Well story standing beside her in that paddock right now… 🥰

🏆 FROM THE SINCLAIR RACING HISTORY BOOKS…

Some records are pretty special and this is certainly one of them.

Did you know Peter Sinclair has trained an incredible 17 winners of the Boolooroo Cup at the Moree Picnics since his first with Sahara Bounty in 1995?

And for 12 consecutive years, the Boolooroo Cup was won by a Sinclair-trained horse.

But perhaps one of the most memorable came at the 100th running of the Moree Picnics in 2024.

Sinclair Racing didn’t just win the Boolooroo Cup that day…

We trained the first FOUR horses across the line.

Peak Road, ridden by Arthur Po***ck on his very first day riding at the races, got the job done making a little bit of Moree racing history along the way.

But that’s the thing about racing. Records and trophies are wonderful, but when you look back, it’s the horses and the people behind them that you remember most.

From Sahara Bounty, Midas Boy, Nepelle, Jazzmaker, Crystal Club, Joppick, Tapakeg, One Double, Dungiven, Track Flash, Liberty Head and Fiocchi, through to Peak Road there are a lot of stories behind those 17 cups.

Over the years, Sinclair Racing has been lucky enough to have some pretty special horses come through our gates and even better people alongside them.

There have been winners, heartbreakers, characters we’ll never forget, big days at the races and plenty of stories that probably shouldn’t be repeated. 😂

LET HIM FLY
EQUIMILLION 2026 🐎✨

We’re very excited to share that Let Him Fly “Fly” is heading to Equimillion 2026!

Fly is entered in the 95cm Eventing, as well as the 90cm and 1m Showjumping, and we can’t wait to see him out there doing what he loves. 💙

One of the things that means so much to us at Sinclair Racing is seeing our horses go on to have a life and career beyond the racetrack. Racing may be where their story with us begins, but it certainly doesn’t have to be where it ends.

Watching horses like Fly transition from their racing careers into new disciplines, find something they love and continue to thrive is a huge part of what Sinclair Racing is all about. These horses give us so much during their time in racing, and seeing what they can achieve in their next chapter is incredibly special.

And Fly won’t be the only familiar Sinclair face heading to Equimillion this year… 👀🐎
