🕘 Saturdays | 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
📅 Starting Saturday, September 12th
💰 $160 for 4 lessons

✨ Course Dates:
• Week 1 – September 12th
• Week 2 – September 19th
• September 26th – NO CLASS (Long Weekend)
• Week 3 – October 3rd
• Week 4 – October 10th

This course is all about helping your dog learn to stay calm, focused and engaged around real-life distractions, using positive, reward-based training. 💛

🐕 We’ll be working on:
✔️ Calm manners around people & dogs
✔️ Loose lead walking
✔️ Engagement & focus outdoors
✔️ Recall
✔️ Confidence building
✔️ Reliable cues around distractions
✔️ Real-life training skills you can actually use!

Designed by Nikky at A Waggy Success (IMDT Certified Dog Trainer), this fun and educational 4-week course gives your puppy the best start in life.

✅ Puppies aged 8–13 weeks are welcome

💉 Puppies only need one vaccination before attending.

📍 Classes are held in our dedicated Puppy Preschool building next door to Melville Animal Hospital, providing a safe and controlled environment.

During the course we'll cover:

🐾 Basic grooming

🐾 Sit, Stay, Eye Contact, Leave It and other foundation cues

🦷 OLLY’S DENTAL DAY! 💙
Meet Olly, who recently visited Melville Animal Hospital for a Stage 1 dental procedure.
Olly had a full dental check and dental X-rays under anaesthetic, which showed several teeth that needed to be removed.

The affected teeth were carefully extracted, and the rest of Olly’s teeth were scaled and polished to give his smile a fresh start! 🦷✨

Olly recovered well and returned in one week to make sure his gums were healing nicely.

Going forward, regular dental care at home will help keep Olly’s teeth and gums healthy. 💙🐾

Latte is a gorgeous Malamute x Labrador who came in to see us recently and wanted to show off just how nicely she can sit on the chair while waiting for the vet! 🥹🪑💕
Such beautiful manners, Latte — we think you deserve 10/10 for your waiting-room etiquette! ⭐🐶

🐾 MAGGIE’S LACKY BAND ESCAPE! 💙

Meet Maggie, who recently visited Melville Animal Hospital after eating a number of Lacky Bands!
Luckily, Maggie was brought in quickly and was given medication to safely induce vomiting. She successfully brought up the lacky bands. 🐶

Maggie was bright and happy after treatment and was able to head home to be monitored by her family. 💙
A good reminder to keep small objects out of reach of curious pets!

💛 Isn't Gracie just gorgeous? 🐾✨
Sweet Gracie came to see us for her desexing procedure, and we all fell head over heels the moment she walked through the door. From her beautiful smile to her unbelievably soft coat, she was impossible not to adore! 🥹
Not only is she stunning, but she was also an incredibly brave girl throughout her stay with us. She handled everything like a champion and earned plenty of cuddles from our team along the way. 💕
We're so happy we got to meet you, Gracie, and we hope you're now back at home recovering well, enjoying lots of rest, treats, and cuddles.
Feel better soon, beautiful girl! 💖🐶

TERRY’S DENTAL PROCEDURE 💙

Meet Terry, a lovely Staffy mix who recently visited Melville Animal Hospital for his dental procedure.
Terry had a full dental check and dental X-rays under anaesthetic. We found several teeth that needed to be removed, including one with a cyst around the tooth. We then cleaned and polished the rest of Terry’s teeth. ✨🦷

Terry recovered well from his anaesthetic and enjoyed plenty of care and cuddles before heading home. 🐾

He’ll return for a check-up in one week to make sure everything is healing well.

Buckley really wanted to show off what he received from us after his procedure! 🥹🏆🐾
And we have to say… he looks pretty proud of himself, if we do say so ourselves! 💕 His Bravery Certificate was very well deserved after being such a good boy for us.
