Vet Update : Introducing Dr Lila who has studied under Dr Vickridge over the years and has been a locum at the practice. Dr Lila brings her skills and especially her maturity and ability to clinically diagnose without having to rely on Expensive Cat scans. When Dr Vickridge and Dr Lila studied the emphasis was on honing clinical and diagnostic skills.
Dr Lila was a mature age student at Murdoch and brings with her a multitude of life skills as well.

Best Bunny Box - Rabbit Shop Tip! Have a carry cage that the lid comes off. Place Bunny's litter tray with hay in the bottom so Bunny will be comfortable & de-stressed like today's Bunny called 'Sausage'.
"Sausage" was totally hormonal & cranky when out of her Bunny Box, but calm & in control as in the photo. Guess what surgery she was in for today ?

"Waggy Tails TALK" - Did you know a dog wags its tail on both sides but slightly more to the dog’s right when he sees his owner and when approached by a random person it wagged more to left? But when approached by a bigger & unknown dog the tail would wag mainly to their left.

And when a dog is continuously moving with excitement, ears are raised & their tail is wagging it is usually a sign that they are happy for you to approach them.

September is Pet Pain Awareness Month & as such we are raising awareness of the subtle signs of pain your pet maybe experiencing. We all know what a yelp or cry means but do you recognise "difficulty getting up after lying down" as a Pain response ?
