It’s not just a pile of fur… it’s understanding the coat.

This is George, and that impressive pile of fluff you see beside him hasn’t been shaved off.

It’s his loose undercoat, carefully brushed and blown out, leaving his healthy outer coat intact.

And what makes this result even more special? George was groomed by one of my students.

Learning to groom isn’t simply about mastering a set of techniques. It’s about learning to look at the dog in front of you, understand their coat, recognise what needs to be removed and, just as importantly, what needs to be left behind.

That’s the difference between simply grooming a dog and truly understanding the craft.

Watching my students develop that understanding, confidence and eye for detail is one of my favourite parts of teaching.

The fur is the satisfying part.
The knowledge behind it is the skill.

It’s a personalised, one-on-one 5-day experience centred around something I believe is often missing from grooming education - truly understanding the dog.

Learning to read their behaviour, communicate with them, earn their trust and make grooming an experience where both you and the dog can feel confident.

Because the real joy of grooming isn’t just creating beautiful grooms.
It’s the relationship you build with the dogs in your care. 🤍

You’ll learn the technical skills, practical knowledge and professional foundations to create a career on your terms - whether that’s building your own salon, working from home or embracing the freedom of being your own boss.

And unlike many courses, the support doesn’t end when your five days do.
Continued mentoring means you have guidance as you step into the industry and grow in confidence.

A full day of learning, growing, and being inspired at a grooming seminar surrounded by passionate people in the industry. One of the best parts was finally putting faces to names within our local grooming community and catching up with some of the incredible ladies I’ve had the privilege of teaching along the way

So grateful to be part of an industry that continues to push, support, and inspire each other. There’s always something new to learn.
