The desire to obtain just one of these was matched by the opportunity to secure a 20% share in a Black Mi
nnaloushe gelding that was to later run under the name of Moonlight Run but with limited success. Bruce had now caught the bug and was determined to fill the vacant spot in his office with a Winning Photo. After much research a decision was made to buy into a horse named Daneodin, who won his very first race, filled the vacant spot on the wall and has continued to race through his grades providing all owners with some very enjoyable moments. The stable of horses has steadily grown ever since and the need to centralise operations has led to the formation of Valhalla Thoroughbreds. They now own and manage 13 horses in Queensland and have interests in 4 horse's interstate with other trainers. The Queensland based horses are all trained by Robert R Wilson who is based on the Sunshine Coast whilst our ever growing team in NSW are trained by Nick Mitchell Racing at Gosford. Nick & Katie do a wonderful job travelling horses to many tracks giving them every chance of success. Broodmares and foals enjoy a wonderful life at Telemon in Innisplain Qld with Dan Fletcher and his team.
