⚠️ Quick Halloween Reminder for Pet Parents! ⚠️

The big night is finally here! If you're preparing for trick-or-treaters and costumes tonight, don’t forget these three quick rules to keep your pets safe during the chaos:

1️⃣ Move lolly bowls to a high shelf where jumping pets can't reach them. Chocolate and sugar-free treats are highly toxic to dogs and cats!

2️⃣ Create a safe "quiet zone" in a back room with their favourite blanket and some calming music to block out the constant doorbell ringing.

3️⃣ Keep cats and dogs inside as soon as the sun starts to set and the neighborhood kids head out.

🎃 Keep Your Furry Monsters Safe This Halloween! 🐾

Halloween is full of spooky fun for us, but it can be downright terrifying (and dangerous) for our pets. Before the trick-or-treaters arrive, take a quick look at these essential safety tips to keep your four-legged family members safe and happy:

🍫 Hide the Treats: Chocolate, xylitol (found in sugar-free candy), and raisins are highly toxic to dogs and cats. Keep all candy bowls well out of paw's reach!

🚪 Secure the Door: Frequent doorbell ringing and opening doors can cause pets to bolt. Keep them in a quiet, secure room away from the front door.

🏷️ Check ID Tags: Make sure your pet's collar tags and microchip contact details are completely up to date, just in case they manage to slip out.

👻 Costume Comfort: If you dress up your pet, ensure the costume doesn't restrict their movement, sight, or breathing. Never leave a costumed pet unsupervised.

🎃 Watch the Decor: Keep glowing jack-o'-lanterns, candles, and wires out of reach to avoid accidental burns or chewing hazards.

When you adopt a dog who is deaf, or has another degree of deaf and/or blindness, it’s really heartwarming watching their bond with unimpaired companions.

Other animals soon realise that there is something different and often adjust how they interact to accommodate the others impairment. 🥰
