We attended the AMPS State championship show last weekend, was quite an effort to get there due to my current work commitments. Unfortunately we were not the judges fancy on the day, being left in the lineup for all classes ( that we weren’t the only entry in of course) Nevertheless i remain so proud of my ponies, their manners and personalities. Baby Indy is maturing so nicely, and Toby is my special mummy’s boy 🙂💕 Congratulations to all winners and my appreciation to the sponsors and organisers of the event.

Happy THIRTEENTH birthday Smokey 💕 You are the best example of what a mini pony can be. You are cheeky, and smart (and naughty at times) you have patiently looked after and played with human children, foals, weanlings and c**ts. you have taught them manners, and not to be scared. many a child has gone home from an agricultural show with happy memories of patting you. And to top it off, 4 State supreme champion awards and a royal show champion. i can’t believe you are 13!

We went to the AMPS show today. I took Indy & Cowboy- his first outing for the season. For him he was actually quite well behaved, but the judge did not like us very much!
I was quite happy with their behaviour and we still had a lovely day. we also got a photo with Cowboy and his dad Yahtzee, can see how much filling out Cowboy still has to do! Thankyou Joanne for the lovely photos 💕

Took the princess to Angaston show today, it was such a pleasant day. She was such a good girl, she got Supreme Appendix pony and 1st best presented. and ate all the treats 🙂 Angaston is always one of my favourite shows 🙂

Post 2 for the AMPS 2025 State show… the other pony i took was baby cowboy, and oh, dear. the photos are fun to look at but he was a BRAT!

he behaved like an angel outside the ring- did not care when penny left to do her classes, stood quietly with no fuss around all the other ponies, stood at the float well, walked and trotted around on the oval with Tamara no worries!
As soon as we walked in the ring— all our manners went out the window! he stood up well in the line up but moving at all was an issue. rearing, bucking, biting, you name it. as soon as we left the ring— angel again. Naughty boy!!
he got 6th out of 12 for best presented (no moving required there, lol)
and 2nd c**t/ reserve champion junior c**t. he’s lucky he got that!!
He is such a good looking boy and i have such high hopes for him… he’s got some boot camp coming to him!!

we had our SA State show last weekend at Balhannah, lovely cool weather and good company.

Penny (Alfirin Worth the Wait) was very dignified and behaved impeccably the entire time. she won best presented appendix, first & champion senior appendix pony, and Supreme appendix pony.
This pony is my heart horse and i’m so very proud of her.

Thankyou to Malcolm & Gillian Arthur, Shirley Smith and Tamara Stewart for holding her for me whilst i was busy with the delinquent child..

and thankyou to Pocket Ponies, Karen Bail & Wirracoo Miniature Horses for your kind sponsorship of the prizes we won! 💕
