We are truely thankful! I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live and work in Tasmania. It was a recent gift from a client (yummy homemade Apple butter) that reminded how amazing my life is. To be surrounded by such natural beauty and live in an area where we grow/make so many things is incredible!

Hello furry friends and owners....I hope you're all dry and warm after that crazy weather!

I wanted to let you know that I need to take a few weeks off to get some medical things sorted. I want to make sure you have enough medication to get through in my absence. If you need a refill of any ongoing medication please let me know as soon as possible and we will get it to you. I'll keep you posted as to my return and we will still be available via text and email for existing clients but will not be seeing any appointments or taking on new clients during this time.

In other news our bitsa Minnie Moo was spayed a few weeks ago by our friends at Animal Medical Center. They did a fantastic job and she is cheeky as ever( don't worry she did actually ride in the foot well).

I look forwarding to seeing you on my return.

Daa Da...Daa Da...We're back!!

We had a great holiday and are excited to be seeing your pets again. Apologies to those who received excessive text messages when you contacted us- my auto text reply when a bit haywire and since I left my work phone in Tassie (forced relaxation) I couldn't fix it.

We will resume our usual schedule tomorrow....

At Symmons Plains for the race today….

You may not know that Adventure Vets sponsors a car in the Improved Production catogory in the Tasmanian Circut Racing Championships. A Ford EB Falcon with a 351 V8 driven by our very own Andrew Colquhoun.

Andrew works with Adventure Vets full time as a vet assistant and the occasional shift at the LGH as a Registerd Nurse.

During his free time he is a very keen motor sports enthusiast.
