Every breakfast has a clean-up crew 🍳
Hamish and Minnie Moo handle the pre-rinse. Cleveland does quality control (Plain cooked egg is fine as a treat, but if there was onion, garlic or a lot of butter in that pan, the crew gets the morning off.)

Weekend uniform: hoodie, trackies, and a full kitchen staff 🐾
The pan gets set down, the crew clocks in. Hamish and Minnie Moo take first shift, and Cleveland does not wait for an invitation.
(Leftovers count as treats, so they come out of the day's food. Hamish would like that rule reviewed.)

Indoor cats should have to hunt for it 🐈

I threw one piece of popcorn on the cat tower. That's the whole enrichment program.

Cats are built to climb and work for their food. A bowl on the floor gives them none of that — which is where a lot of the boredom, the extra weight and the 3am zoomies come from.

Throw it. Hide it. Make them climb for it. Costs nothing.

(One piece, dinner is still dinner.)

Six cases of H5 bird flu have now been confirmed in wild seabirds at Rocky Cape, King Island, Sulphur Creek and Burnie.

There is no need to panic. No cases have been detected in Tasmanian poultry, and surveillance has found no evidence of mass bird deaths. Please remain vigilant and do your best to keep your feathered and furry friends safe.

It’s Dental Month—and sometimes the sweetest smiles are a little wonky. 😄

A tiny crooked tooth can be completely adorable, but changes like persistent bad breath, trouble chewing, dropping food, drooling, or seeming reluctant to have the face touched are worth discussing with your veterinarian.

Dental health is part of your pet’s overall wellbeing. A home visit can be a calm way to chat about oral-health concerns, preventive care and the next best step for your individual pet.

Meet three very charming smiles. 🦷🐾

Call, text or email Adventure Vets to book a home visit or discuss your pet’s dental care.

When your morning commute comes with its own rainbow. Not a bad office view to start the day! This beautiful rainbow greeted us on our drive through the Fingal Valley this morning, one of the many reasons we love travelling across Tassie to care for your pets. Wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday from the Adventure Vets team.

Adventure Vets will be on the East Coast again on Wednesday Dec 10th . For those of you from Dolphin Sands affected by the bushfires, I would be happy to have a look at your pets if you have any concerns. Please get in contact with us either by email ([email protected]) or text (0477179070) and we will arrange a spot to meet up. If you need any pet related items from Launceston I can try to help with that too. Be safe and take care.
