Job Description:
As a Dog Handler, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our daycare facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supervising dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engaging dogs in activities that promote physical exercise and mental stimulation
• Monitoring behavior and intervening as needed to maintain a positive environment.
• Assisting in providing basic grooming as required, Nail Trimming, Hydro baths, teeth cleaning and coat brushing.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
• Interacting professionally with dog owners, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Behaviour testing to assess suitability in Daycare.
Requirements:
Passion for working with dogs and a genuine love for animals.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
Strong observational skills to assess dog behavior and ensure a safe environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to adhere to daycare policies and procedures for the well-being of all dogs.
