TOWNSVILLE TARTAN DAY is almost here, Sunday 21st June - all the Dogs of Scottish Breeds are invited to take part in the parade, each breed with their own special banner!

Assemble at 10.00am in Cotters Market, near City Lane - let’s have as many Terriers - Shelties, Scotties, Cairns, Skyes, Dandy Dinmonts and Borders - Collies (Smooth & Rough), Shelties, Bearded Collie, Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Scottish Deerhounds, Bloodhounds, as many people are unaware of their Scottish heritage and people love to see them in the parade.

Wear a touch of tartan if you have some - tartan ribbon (available from Spotlight) looks great on your dog’s collar or lead. Perhaps you have a breed-specific tee-shirt?
Contact Marie Gibson (0413456542) for full details and to register your dog’s participation - cost free and dogs receive a scoop of ice cream to cool off at the end, if you approve of course!
