This microscopic view of a urine sample shows large numbers of rod-shaped bacteria, confirming a urinary tract infection. You can also see neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) trying to fight the infection.

A very special visitor popped in to see us recently — ChaCha the Story Dog 🐶📚

ChaCha was in for her annual health check and vaccination, and as always, she was the perfect patient (with plenty of tail wags included!).

Story Dogs play such an important role in schools, helping children build confidence and improve their reading skills by creating a calm, supportive and judgement-free space to read aloud. It’s amazing to see the positive impact these wonderful dogs can have on young learners.

A slightly different clinic outing this week 🎬✨

We swapped scrubs for our best cerulean blue jumpers and headed out together to see The Devil Wears Prada 2. Thankfully no one was asked to fetch the unpublished Harry Potter manuscript on the way in.

We thoroughly enjoyed settling into our recliner seats and nibbling on popcorn whilst enjoying the ongoing legend that is Miranda Priestly 👠🍿🖤
