Lest we forget.
Jack's ANZAC found flowering on ANZAC day.
This orchid was named in honour of Russell's father, who worked on the railways. Jack's family have a long history of service.
Jack's father served in the Boer War. Jack's brothers served in World War 2, and Jack's son (Don), and his son-in-law (Ron) served in Vietnam.
Numerous cousins of Jack's also served in WW 1, and WW 2.
Jack's father-in-law served in WWI, with his father-in-laws was cousin killed at the landing of Gallipoli.
Remembering all our Armed Service personal today, as well as the families that waited at home for these men and women to return..
