Following on from a great Go Fund Me drive, and an amazing effort from family and friends (and friends of friends of friends!), another amazing group of people have approached Georgia and let her know some wonderful news… The Friday Warriors have reached out and let Georgia know that she has been nominated as the beneficiary for their annual luncheon in August.

Meet Remmi! She's got a bit of an issue with being in the car. As soon as her family hooks a right out of her street she pipes up with the whimpering. So many previous experiences can contribute to this so we are working on creating some calm desirable behaviours and making a plan to use them to get this under control👌

Meet Gollum! She's big, she's got a few black blotches but otherwise totally white and she's as deaf as a post... Well she may be able to hear the slightest bit of a very loud sound (that could actually just be feeling vibration). We have had half a dozen sessions to work on her reactivity and some behavioural traits that do not make her fun to be around if she uses them to 'keep' what she wants. Her mum has done amazing work on communicating some great cues and btheir associated behaviours already, so now we are using them in a way that guides Gollum to choose desirable behaviours that still let her keep the things she wants. Without needing to resort to her self developed toolkit.
