Horse people are a different breed... 😂

Normal people:"I'll just duck to the shops for milk."

Horse people:"I'll just duck down to the produce...."

Comes home with another halter, a new brush, two lead ropes, treats, fly spray, and somehow... another rug or saddle pad.

The milk? Completely forgot it. 🤦‍♀️🤣

I swear every horse shop has some sort of magic force field around it.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but buying another show pad or shirt is cheaper than buying another horse... 🤷‍♀️😂

And honestly, if we're comparing horse-related purchases, a new show set barely even counts as spending money.

The glamorous life of running a horse business... 😂

Most people see the finished product—a nice show shirt, a sharp-looking pad, or the photo from the show pen.

What they don't see is the late nights packing orders, answering messages between rides, trying to remember where you put your coffee, and somehow fitting it all in around feeding horses.

A lot of people might know me as a horse trainer/coach, etc but, not everyone knows how Black Label Equine came about.

After years of competing, just a couple girls sitting down at the end of the show day, and with some Derby shows just around the corner, we noticed the struggle to find western show gear that looked great, performed well and didn't break the bank.

As competitors ourselves, we know what it's like. You've already invested in the horse, the training or lessons, entries, fuel, feed, farrier bills and everything else that comes with chasing your goals. Looking and feeling confident in the show pen shouldn't have to cost a fortune as well.

That's why Black Label Equine was created.
