Not every sit starts perfectly 🥹

I did all the right things - had a meet & greet to make sure I was the right fit, stayed the night before her owners leaving. But when they left, Ivy was stressed & wanted nothing to do with me. After having a very tough start in life how could I blame her for acting this way?

Her owners were ready to cancel their trip. I almost let them.

I hear a lot of sitters are cancelling when things get tough. I’m not one of them.

I said - give it 24 hours. Let’s see if anything changes.

Now Ivy won’t leave my side 🥰
