Last month was a difficult one 💔

Two beautiful long term patients crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈🐾

One of the greatest privileges of my job is forming strong bonds with my patients and getting to know the families who love them so deeply.

Many of the dogs I care for are in their golden years. My hope is always to bring comfort, ease, and a little more joy to the time they have left.

The hardest part is saying goodbye.

But every tail wag and every happy zoomie is a reminder of why this work is so meaningful. These beautiful souls leave paw prints on far more hearts than they know. ❤️

Lets talk lick mats! 👅

Enrichment tools such as lick mats are a great way to support calm, positive experiences during canine massage. They encourage licking, which releases endorphins and helps dogs feel more relaxed and comfortable throughout their session 💆‍♀️🐶

Not every patient needs a lick mat to unwind, but for those who do, it’s a total game changer (and they’re pretty happy about it!) 🐾
