Hope we are all enjoying the sunshine this weekend.
I just wanted to let everyone know I am now back in the salon full time 😊 (I will be having the odd day off though)
Our hours of operation will be changing slightly as I juggle working back full time and 3 kids 🙈
We I’ll be opening at 9 o’clock and closing at 3:30 on Tuesday’s and Thursdays and 4/4:30 on Wednesday and Friday. Any appointments that are already booked will stay at the times they are but moving forward our last appointments will be at 2 o’clock on Tuesday and Thursday and 3 o’clock Wednesday and Fridays. Obviously this means we won’t be doing as many dogs per day so I encourage everyone to book in advance and if I normally groom your dog please let us know when booking in as I will still have there day off if I have appointments. I appreciate everyone for understanding these changes as I adapt back to full time work, and there’s only so much I can do at the minute as I am still recovering. My family comes first and I will still have Theo with me in the salon for the time being so grooms are taking me a little longer than normal.

⚠️ Parvo virus has been detected in our local area - North West Tasmania ⚠️

We are sharing this update to help keep our community informed and pets safe, following a confirmed case of canine parvovirus in the Devonport area.

Parvo is a highly contagious virus that can make dogs especially puppies, very unwell.
Parvo can also survive in the environment for long periods of time, meaning it’s easy to unknowingly bring it home on shoes, clothing or from shared spaces.
With the Easter long weekend coming up, please be mindful if taking your dogs out in public.

Symptoms of Parvo Virus are:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Tiredness or weakness
• Loss of appetite

The good news is that Parvo is preventable with vaccination.
Making sure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date is the most effective way to protect them.

Please if you notice any of the above symptoms contact your vet, if you have an appointment with us and notice any symptoms please get in touch and reschedule your appointment, we need to keep everyone safe and the best way to do this is to ensure your pooch is vaccinated to help prevent the spread of this horrible disease.

Appointments are booking up very quickly at the minute, we only have a few left before we close for a little break over Easter. We will be closed Good Friday Easter weekend, Easter Monday and Tuesday returning to the salon on April 8th

I would like to thank everyone for there patience since I have been back at work grooms are taking a little longer than normal at times as I do have Theo in the salon with me and I have to pick the boys up in the afternoon.
I do appreciate everyone’s support since being back and cant thank the girls, Steph, Ellie and Ash enough your all amazing 🤩

I hope we are all enjoying the long weekend. Just wanted to let everyone know our opening hours will be slightly different gig a little while. As you all know I’ve just had Theo and Lachie has started school this year 😳. Because I haven’t pick the boys up from school (Lachies too little to get the bus yet) we will be closing earlier some days our hours will be (roughly, we may be open longer some days)

Tuesday- 8:30-3
Wednesday- 8:40-4:30
Thursday- 8:40-3
Friday- 8:30-3:30

At the minute I won’t be reopening on Saturdays I’m sorry if these changes cause any inconvenience to anyone but i have to look after my family
Appointments that are already booked will still be at the time they are booked in for

Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Appointments are filling up very quickly at the minute. I am back in the salon 2-3 days a week and looking forward to seeing everyone again, I will have Theo with me so grooms may take slightly longer than normal as I will be attending to him as well as pampering your pups. Our next available at the minute is March 19th I am still limited as to how many large dogs I can do each day as well so it’s best to book in early to avoid disappointment.
Sorry I don’t have any pics of your pups from the last few weeks but here’s a pic of Theo 🥰
