we kicked off early to beat the heat. now it’s bunching, bagging & punneting time in the shade!

we’ve harvested a mega haul for tomorrows market :: lots of salad greens, summers finest tommies, plenty o’corn & r’bird can attest to hours of bean picking.

RE-HOMING EVE ::

this tues the 17th & thurs the 19th • we have 50 (rhode island red x new hampshire) reared from day old, now 6 months old & ready to fly the coop & retire to their forever homes.

our ladies are fully beaked & have spent their whole life living free in the great outdoors • laying super well • $25 each • pick up 830pm from the farm • pls email [email protected] or text 0481123121 with your name, mobile number, which of pick-up eve suits & number of hens.

pets that eat scraps, p**p organic fertiliser & lay nutritious eggs have to be the best early xmas gifts ever! 🐓🐓🐓

& ITS KICK OFF! last week we hx’ed the first of our early garlic varieties, hanging to cure, now ready to add that spark of deliciousness to any gastronomical delight. we’ll be bringing plenty loose & the first of our braids to the Albury Wodonga Farmers Market tomorrow morn. piled high, ready to fly along side springs most real and delicious veg, RADeggs & speedings. pop by & say hi!

WHO ELSE IS PLANTING GARLIC THIS EASTER LONG WEEKEND?

we’ve tucked our early turbans into the ground this week and bagged some packs of our white velvet seed stock for anyone keen to have a grow at home!

RADSPEEDLINGS ARE BACK BABY!

its time to pull out those sad looking tommies and mildewie cucumbers and replace the trellises with climbing snow peas & perhaps some Asian greens underneath. flip that sad looking potted succulent by the front, with herbs that will flavour your cool season soups and slow cooked stews all winter long.

while the soil is still warm (& rain on the way next week 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽) now it the time to fill the space b/w the roses with wombok or cauli, perhaps a romanesco or two. I won’t lie, the beauty growing winter veggies brings to any garden will have you thinking twice about planting any more ornamentals!
