Had a beautiful day at bundabergcountrydressagegroup event on Sunday. Congradulations to the committee on another successful, stress free day with fantastic nominations!

My two new recruits went out with no expectations but performed extremely well.
🏅Sylvester (grey) won the 1.2 with 69%, then came 3rd in 1.1
🏅Agent Albert (chestnut) won the 1.1 with 66% and came 2nd in the 1.2.

Thank you to the committee, volunteers, judges and my support for making the day possible!

🏅Bundaberg Show 2025 🏅

A few weeks ago we had a busy but rewarding Bundy show.
I had my gelding Albert jumping on Wednesday, he popped around the 80cm for 5th place and then cruised (bit too cruisey) around the 90cm having 2 rails.
I was grateful to get the ride on Angela Thomas’ stunning mare ‘Dolci’ in the hack ring. She brought home champion OTT Hack 🥇

Finally but most proudly - it was the first show for two of my gorgeous clients Sunny and Ellie-Mae. The girls successfully rode their ponies King and Belle in the leadline classes bringing home ribbons and having a great day. Their mums transitioned into the show pony mum life remarkably preparing the ponies for the ring.

Thank you to everyone who helped out in the day! I couldn’t have done it without Mum Julianne Auer there to hold everything and everyone together.
thank you for trusting me with the ride on your mare and Dale for throwing me on the horses as I swapped throughout the day.
Ally thank your for helping and holding horses for me!

IT’S HAPPENING!!!

As many of you know, I’ve been talking about this for what feels like forever… but we are here and so very excited!

🌞The past 3 weekends have seen us on the road going to Eidsvold, Mundubbera and Biggenden shows.

The Walker’s ‘Penbryn Pepper Pot’ has been to all three shows and has made an impressive improvement in three weeks. He went from placing in his classes at Eidsvold, to Reserve Champion Hunter at Mundubbera and then Champion Pony today at Biggenden.

Unfortunately I haven’t had any jumpers until today at Biggenden.
‘Agent Albert’ although a bit rusty brought home the win in the 80cm and had the last fence down in the 90cm.

‘Sylvester’ was dragged to the show without any jump training but he handled the environment like a gentleman.

From here over the next two weeks, we will be at Maryborough show, down to Tamborine for the eventing QLD development clinic, Bundaberg show and then Gin Gin show 🤪

☀️ G O O D F R I D A Y ☀️

What a beautiful day to round out the past two weeks. Today was the 5th and final extra full day of coaching I have done over the school holidays.

The last two weeks have been awesome, I have had 3 full days of coaching around town/from home and then spent 2 days coaching at the Gin Gin pony club camp and I was also asked to judge Bundaberg Country Dressage groups dressage day. (While still balancing my Admin Job).

Thank you Gin Gin pony club for inviting me to coach at their camp. It was great to meet so many gorgeous new faces and I was throughly impressed with everyone’s riding and horses!

Congratulations to the committee of Bundaberg country dressage group on getting the club up and running and running a successful show - please support the club and participate in their events.

For the next two days I’m “out of the office”. I will return Monday when I’ll be getting some lessons for myself.
