From the Ground Up Wellbeing Farm’s early intervention & life skills program provides opportunities for individuals to engage with purposeful and meaningful activities that support a range of developmental skills.

The early intervention program is delivered by a registered teacher with extensive childhood experience across a range of developmental areas and ages.

Our teacher fosters connection to the natural world by integrating natural elements for immersive outdoor nature experiences. This approach provides benefits to the health, wellbeing, and development of participants.

Engagement facilitates a broader range of play and exploration types (ie. active, risky, creative, imaginative) for social, emotional and cognitive development.

The teacher integrates co-regulation techniques to connect with individuals, helping their emotions come, flow, and pass in a way that feels safe and manageable.

The program emphasises on what individuals can do by engaging in a spontaneous and curious way. This multimodal approach provides opportunities for purposeful engagement with outcomes through positive and practical engagement with farm related activities.

The groups are led by an Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Assistant supporting the development of skills to navigate social interactions positively and confidently.

Opportunities to transfer learnt skills in individual appointments to be applied in a supported and small group environment.
