Did you know Beagles have a double coat? 🐶✨

Even though their fur looks short, Beagles actually have two layers — a soft undercoat for temperature control and a water-resistant topcoat to keep them clean and dry. This means they shed year-round, with heavier coat drops in spring and autumn. 🐾

Their colours also change as they age! Puppies are often born darker, with black patches lightening to tan or brown as they mature. As they grow older, you’ll notice more white hairs around their face, giving them that adorable, wise look. 🤍

Regular brushing and a good bath and blow-dry help keep their coat healthy and shiny — and your house a little less hairy! 🫧

We can de-shed many short-coated breeds, including Beagles, Pugs, Labradors, French Bulldogs, Boxers, Staffies, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, and many more — helping to reduce loose hair and keep their coats in top condition.

To book your Beagle (or any short-coated pup!), head to our online bookings and select ‘Bath & Dry – Short Coats’, then add the $10 de-shed for the best results. 🐶✂️
