We have a couple of spots available at the next Jacqui VanMontfrans Riders Clinic in Bowen running from the 02bd October - 05th October.

Catering for all levels of riders and horses!

💰$170 per 45min private lesson
⛺️ Camping and Stabling are available at an additional cost of $15 camping per night and $15 per stable per night.

🌟 You're Invited to Ride Novice 2.3 Test – FREE Entry! 🌟

North Queensland Equestrian Group and Townsville Dressage Club are inviting riders to take part in the Novice 2.3 test at the Dressage Judges Upgrade Practical Exam. This is a fantastic opportunity to ride in front of an FEI level judge and receive valuable feedback – all at no cost!

✅ When: Saturday 6th September, 10am – 2pm
✅ Where: Townsville District Pony Club grounds, Idalia
✅ Who: Riders of all levels welcome who can make a reasonable attempt at a Novice test (it doesn't need to be perfect!l
✅ Entry: FREE! 💰

✨ Must be a member of NQEG, TDC or EA for insurance

Over the years I have missed not being able to do exercise in the mornings. I would exercise when and where I could and not let it get me down if I couldn’t exercise as regularly as I wanted or when I wanted. I shifted my mindset to “just keep going and workout when you can - don’t stop, just do it when you can”. This has helped me immensely when I couldn’t keep the consistency going.

With young kids I was always told things change quickly. Well when you’re in the depths of it, it moves slow but ‘big picture’ it definitely changes and moves quickly.

I have started to be able to get a morning run in again and boy oh boy does it feel good to do that before I start work for the day.
Some days I have to ride the horses early but other times I can sneak that early morning run in. 👌🏼

There is something about moving your body and getting the endorphins going that just sets the day to be brilliant.

Bring on Airlie Beach half marathon in just over 18 weeks. Base building of endurance is underway. I’m aiming for a sub 2hr HM on the Airlie course (which isn’t a flat race). 🤞🏼

Working on re-establishing some of the harder collectivity and active work with Greg. He doesn’t find it the easiest of this training routine but he definitely tries. 💯 effort ✔️
