We understand the real cost pressures facing our community — and when it comes to cat desexing, we know affordability can be a barrier. Desexing remains one of the most important steps in preventing roaming, unwanted litters and supporting animal welfare. 🐾

At BARC, we are continuing to support our community by offering discounted cat desexing programs from just $20.

As the cooler months roll in, we’re beginning to stock up to keep our cats and dogs warm 🐾

We rely so much on the kindness and generosity of our community, and we’re incredibly grateful for any support you can offer.

If you have any of the following items to spare, we would love to hear from you:

🐶 Warm blankets & donnas
🐱 Towels
🐾 Dog beds
🐾 Pet food (all varieties – dry, wet, treats)

- We do not require clothes, pillows, cushions, car seat covers - These items are unusable and contribute to our landfill costs.

Your donations help us make sure every animal in our care stays cosy, warm and happy throughout winter ❤️

Legend says a hero will rise… with a wiggly tail and a serious love of snacks.

Enter: Po! 🍜🐶

This 4-month-old Staffy might not know kung fu (yet), but he’s mastered the art of cuddles and zoomies.

Like his namesake, he’s a lovable goofball with a BIG heart and even bigger appetite 🤭

Training? He’s onto it—especially if treats are involved (skadoosh = snacks!).

Po is super friendly, loves making doggy friends, and is always ready for an adventure.
He’s looking for a family to help him unlock his full Dragon Warrior potential 🐉

Come on in and MEAT Kabana — this gorgeous 7-month-old Staghound cross is as sweet as they come 💛

Gentle, people-loving and eager to please, she walks beautifully on lead and is already showing off her lovely manners. With a little guidance, she’s set to grow into the most loyal best friend you could ask for.
