How cute is this little guy!
With a big trip ahead from Victoria to Queensland we like to make sure we are starting the journey off on a positive note, we’re more then happy to take our time to allow the horses to process and learn, it not only makes the trip easier on us, but it helps to give them the confidence they need for a safe and stress free trip. 🥰🐴🚙
Sad day saying goodbye to our little Gunther - "Time Chex Out," who's heading up to an incredible home in QLD!
I'm sad to see him leave as he's the most loving and funny little dude, and the first of my homebred crew to be sold, so a bit of a bitter-sweet moment, but also an exciting one to watch what he'll become in the future!
Huge shout out to Emily and Meade from OUT'n'BACK Equine Transport for their patient and ethical pick up.
They didn't treat pick up as a job, but as a training session, allowing little Gunther the time to work out the new ramp, truck and person, and even once on they took him off to relax, process and learn before asking again and loading up completely.
This is exactly the type of horse transport company we need in an industry that has it's questionable "professionals" and I was so relieved to watch them work with this special dude! Highly recommended! 🙌
In case you're questioning the unusual name, while I was injured, Scott spent hours in the paddock in the middle of the night, monitoring Gunther come into this world, and with a little assistance due to being a bit caught up, he was born, instantly acquiring his name from Scott and of course it stuck 😅 and I'm happy to say it's still sticking in his new home haha!
