Cola’s pups are 3 weeks old. We have started them on solids now, because we feel Cola needs as much help as she can get, to feed so many pups. Unfortunately at this age, they love to climb in their food bowl, so it is not a great time to take individual photos as they look at bit messy. Cola does a wonderful job of cleaning up after their feed. They love their food.

Cola’s pups are now 2 weeks old. They have had their weekly weigh in & their first worming dose. They have all shown fairly good growth over the past week. We are continuing to top some of them up with bottles, so when I was trying to take photos, some thought they were getting fed & kept looking for the bottle! You will notice that their eyes are now open. We have also moved them to a bigger whelping box.

Cola is doing an amazing job with her pups, with some help from us & some puppy formula. It does still show that mums milk is best, as there is still a noticeable difference in the sizes of the pups, despite some extra feeds for the smaller ones. With such a big litter it is normal to get some size variation, but they are all gaining weight which is what is important. As you can see, when I tried to take the photos at weigh in time, boy 5 thought it was feed time, so I put the bottle in his mouth to keep him still for the photo.

Cola’s pups were born on Friday night. It was a long night sitting with her while she gave birth to 11 gorgeous pups, 6 girls and 5 boys. They are all black & white like both the parents. With so many mouths to feed we have been busy helping out with some bottles for those pups that need a helping hand. Mum is doing a fantastic job & though some are growing faster than others they are all gaining weight.

Last week we confirmed by ultrasound that Cola is expecting her next litter. The sire of this litter is our boy Shadow. The pups are due in about 4 weeks time and will all be black & white.

These 2 boys are still looking for their forever homes! Boy 4 is the more placid of the two and Boy 2 is more cheeky. These 2 enjoyed the rainy weather last week, finding the odd puddle to play in, hence the slightly wet look in the photos!

We still have 2 gorgeous boys looking for someone to love them. They have now had their 2nd puppy vaccination as well.

We are all doing well here, despite the weather in SE Qld at the moment. It has been windy but we have had little rain, unlike some areas not too far away. These pups are so cheeky & playful and are still looking for someone to love them (other than us)!

Willow’s pups will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and are then ready to start the next chapter in their lives. We still have 3 beautiful boys looking for someone to love them.

Willow’s pups are growing so quickly! They are so much fun now. They are eating well & have started weaning from mum.

Willow’s pups are now 4 weeks old. They are becoming so playful! We have now allowed them access to outside so they have more room to run around and play. They have also had their next weigh-in and worming dose. The pups are loving their food as well.
