Milo🌈

Last night we were alerted to a cat struggling to breathe and unable to move. We picked him up and rushed him to Aleef

This was not a known community cat. He was not known to us at all and appeared to have been dumped - in his condition there’s just no way he could have brought himself here!!

He was an older male cat and in terrible condition. Emaciated. Jaundiced and dealing with parasites. He was massively dehydrated and struggling to breathe due to fluid in his chest

The fluid was tested and he was positive for FIP 💔 FIP alone is something we can fight but with all of his other issues his little body was not strong enough

The Dr agreed the best decision would be to let him go and stop his suffering

This is never the outcome we want and we are heartbroken for this little boy. No cat deserves to be dumped at their most desperate moment, yet here we are

We are just so sorry we found him as late as we did and so grateful for the community member who alerted us

As a side note, if you see a cat lying unable to move, placing human food beside them simply draws ants to them. Please do not do this.

🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🐾

Meet baby Toby💫 The cuddle bug couch potato who also loves to play the day away …

Lap cat? ✅ Cuddle buddy? ✅ A little bestie who won’t break your heart? ✅

The sweetest of little boys, he turned up at one of the Downtown feeding stations and immediately had to grab him as his leg was badly injured. He had been attacked by a bigger cat and had a broken leg as well as abscesses from being bitten

His recovery was lengthy and painful but despite all this he never let out a sound during painful treatment. He is still desperate to play with his foster siblings and shows no fear - nothing can put him off!

🩵 Toby is a neutered male Arabian Mau
🩵 He is estimated to be around 5 months old
🩵 Fully vaccinated
🩵 Microchipped & dewormed
🦵🏼 His broken leg has caused a slight limp when he walks but does not cause him any pain

🐱 Toby would suit a home with at least one other cat. He loves to play with his foster siblings and thrives when he has furry friends
🐶 He loves dogs and is living with several in foster - the more playful the better!
🧒🏻 👧🏻 Toby has not been tested with kids but we believe he would do really well with them. He’s the most gentle little boy

✈️ His passport is ready and we welcome international adoptions - particularly this year! We do ask for an adoption fee of 250 GBP and this goes towards the full relocation cost. We are more than happy to fundraise the remaining amount for the right family and we take care of the relocation start to finish

💌 If you’d like to enquire about Toby joining your family, please do get in touch!

☀️SUMMER FOSTER HOMES NEEDED☀️

We are losing some foster spaces and are in desperate need of temporary homes while our current foster families travel

We have different needs from 2 weeks to 4 weeks

All our babies require is a spare bedroom OR a pet free home.

Moving them to a new home is stressful so we don’t want to go through introductions to other pets in the home when the move is only temporary

Are you able to help us for summer?

If we can’t find foster homes these beautiful babes will go into cages for the duration they’re out of foster - we really don’t want that at all.

If you can help, please do reach out to us! We are truly at breaking point 🙏🏼

Cahn💫

The bravest boy 🩵

Cahn had his eye surgery and some revision on previous dental extractions.

Whoever took his teeth out (before he was dumped in our community) left roots behind so he was in quite a bit of pain between his inverted eyelids and mouth issues 💔 Recovery from eye surgery is not for the feint of heart. It’s difficult to see them like this and often impossible to get the eyes cleaned properly to promote healing.

He’s been for a little clean up with the nurses and ready to show off his big sparkling eyes 😍

Will he win any beauty pageants? No. Not any time soon. But my god this boy has THE SWEETEST temperament!!!

Big male cats look terrifying and because of this they’re often overlooked for TNR in case they’re tricky to catch or aggressive when approached. In our experience they’re easier than the girls! They’re definitely passed by for adoption and we wish more people could see them for who they truly are ❤️‍🩹 These gentle giants make THE BEST pets!!

Cahn will go back outside after a few more days of eye drops. Putting cats back outside in these temperatures is never easy but it’s a necessary part of what we do

Would you consider adopting an adult male like Cahn? If so, please do get in touch

We could add a million more reasons to this post

This year has been particularly difficult with dumped pets … no one could foresee how 2026 was going to go but adopting an animal (or buying one) comes with responsibility

Unfortunately many take an animal impulsively without considering various factors

Are you able to set aside cash for emergencies? For relocations?

Why are you accepting accommodation knowing you cannot take your animal with you?

Allergies? It’s unlikely to be your pet but that’s an easy thing for a dr to blame. There’s workarounds

Pets not getting along? Did you even consider your original animal before adding a new one? Many don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

Animals scratch … if you don’t want an animal that scratches perhaps get fish next time?

Pets are family. They are a commitment. Good pet owners understand this and when rehoming is for the animals own welfare then yes perhaps we can get on board with that. But in the majority of cases this is not at all what we experience

🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🐾

Meet Stevie Wonder💫

Stevie was dumped at one of our community feeding stations a few weeks ago.

It takes a special kind of person to dump a blind cat in an area they don’t know 💔 He’s only 7 months old so technically they’ve dumped a blind kitten 😭

Initially thought to have haws syndrome, we felt hopeful we could help him regain his eyesight. He had flu and we started him on antibiotics but sadly our vet confirmed it was not haws syndrome and was in fact likely he had no vision at all and this wasn’t likely to improve

Stevie has the sweetest nature. We decided to give him a chance but we know this won’t be an easy one and his options are limited. His eyes are not causing him any issues or discomfort and we think he might see shadows so removing his eyes at this point doesn’t seem like a risk we wish to take

He’s spent the last week with Cassandra from our team and she feels he would do best with another friendly cat in the home. We weren’t sure how this would go but he has met another friendly cat in her home and was excited by the prospect of a buddy

The sweetest boy who wants to cuddle 24/7 we need to try our best for him - his personality suggests he was a pet 💔

🧡 Stevie is estimated to be 7 months old
🧡 Male Arabian Mau
🧡 He will be neutered in the coming weeks
🧡 He will be fully vaccinated prior to adoption
🧡 Stevie has been dewormed and is a strictly indoor only cat
🧡 Other than his eyes looking strange he is a perfectly healthy cat!

🐱 Would suit a home with another (young) friendly cat
🐶 Not tested with dogs but would be fine with the correct introduction
🧒🏻 👧🏻 Stevie panics when he’s picked up so although he demands affection and cuddles he does not want to be lifted. He would be best suited to a home with older kids who understand this

✈️ We welcome international adoptions. We do ask an adoption fee of 250 GBP which goes towards the relocation cost. We are more than willing to fundraise for the right family and we take care of the relocation from our side

💌 If you’d like to enquire about adding Stevie to your family, please send us a DM !

🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🐾

Pumpkin💫

The most gorgeous little girl who’s had the most horrendous year so far 💔

First reported to us in February, she was spotted with a serious tail injury. It took quite some time to catch her but Laura finally managed it and I don’t think any of us expected her to be the cuddle bug that she is.

She was first found to be living with her mama and siblings in a garden and the family very kindly assisted us in TVNMR-ing them. Over time they all dispersed and we don’t know how she managed this tail injury but we’ve sadly had a fair few of them over the years. Her recovery has not been smooth and we think she deserves a home of her own! No matter the pain and trauma she’s purred through it all!!

🧡Pumpkin is an Arabian Mau and just shy of 2 yrs old
🧡Spayed
🧡Fully vaccinated
🧡Microchipped
🧡Dewormed
🧡Clean bill of health 🥳

👧🏻 She’s fantastic with kids and wants to be a cuddle cat
🐶 Not tested with dogs but we believe she would be fine as long as introduced correctly
🐱 Not tested with cats. We think she deserves to be spoiled as a solo cat but with the correct introduction she could be fine with other kitties in the house

✈️ We welcome international adoptions. We do ask for an adoption fee of 250 GBP but we are more than happy to fundraise the remaining amount for the right family. We also take care of the relocation at every step.

💌 If you’d like to enquire about adopting this beautiful girl, please comment or send us a DM

What a boy. He’s already had dental a few years ago and now his mouth is in dire need of more work 💔

The good news is he has someone able to look out for him. The bad news is he may end up with no teeth at all.

The reality is we can’t just pull teeth and resolve the inflammation. It’s a much bigger job than that. But knowing someone is willing to look out for him buys him time. We may need to put him up for adoption though as being without teeth on the street is not ideal long term.

First things first - we need to get him pain free 💔. The downside of having such a (fairly) stable colony of cats is that they live longer to present us with lots of problems 🤪

We do love a challenge!

If you’d like to donate towards this boy, please contact British Vet Khalifa branch and donate towards the account

We have a long list of dental cases waiting in the wings so this boy has just been added to that…

Cahn💫

Our beautiful bruiser of a boy had his eye surgery 🥳

He also had some dental while under anesthesia so he’s no doubt feeling like a new man!

Cahn is a gentle giant and deserves to be living pain free. He’s already got some admirers inside the community looking out for him and he’s only been dumped on us in recent weeks … he’s a heartbreaker for sure

For now, he’s inside recovering. Recovering from entropion surgery is no joke but he’s taking it in his stride! He’s chomping on 74 packets of wet food a day and generally loving being waited on hand and foot

This is what our donations are used for. We don’t just sterilize. We change their lives. We are so grateful for the support as we couldn’t do this alone

Thank you to everyone who donates towards what we do. Thanks to you this boy now has a chance at a pain free future 🙌🏼❤️
